Outstanding games yesterday


I was hoping for ::uy but I personally didn't believe they can beat .The team had control of the entire match and ::uy had no chances. Even without Muslera's huge mistake, ::uy was very far from getting the needed result. So, objectively, was better and they deserved to win.


And the second match, for me, was the best one so far I didn't believe could beat .But they deserved it. They were not afraid of Brazil, they played their game and they were not defending. The first goal was lucky but deserved once again (based on what we saw on the field) and De Bruyne scored a brilliant second goal. didn't have any creativity nor idea how to return from that situation. I definitely think that the winner in the match between and will win the World Cup.


I think the main reason why got another weak result is Neymar. It's hard to build a teamplay with such player in. Not just because everyone expected him to be the (original) Ronaldo but because of his egoistic behavior too. And, as we could see, on this match he was not rolling as he used to which indicates that everything he was doing was completely fake. Including his play. So a gets rid of Neymar, they will have the chance to fight for the title in 4 years.

Very professional performance from England, Gareth Southgate's tactics were spot on. We may not have the star players that Belgium have but this England team are playing like a TEAM with hunger and passion for the first time in a long, long time.

I am so proud of all of the England players, especially Harry Maguire, Jordan Pickford, Harry Kane, John Stones. And Gareth Southgate has been an absolute revelation as England manager, he has been the leader in transforming the England football team and Southgate will make sure this continues into the future.

And of course "it's coming home, it's coming home, football is coming home"
