Congrats Croatia ::xcheer. Argentina were terrible but that was an utter masterclass from Modric, Rakitic, and Brozovic both sides of the field.

Brozovic had Messi in his pocket the whole game. Congrats to all the Croatian forumers. 100 % deserved

This is a great opportunity for Iceland. Very bad for my prediction game at work, I had Argentina as the group winner, and all the way to the bronze final, so this will cost me many points, but Iceland advancing is most important for me anyway. Áfram Ísland! :D

Almost everybody has that I guess. Well, it can be Iceland all the way, it can also still be Nigeria or even Argentina all the way. It will get exciting!

It's not over yet no, but Argentina can't win the group. I have them as group winners, which means I have them in 1/8 final #4, 1/4 final #4, and "away" team in semi final #2. None of that is going to happen, which means even if Argentina does qualify to the semi from being #2 in the group, I won't score any points on them. And since there is a chance someone else have them as runner-up in the group, it's better for me if they end 3rd, so nobody else gets points from them either. ;)

In some of my 'simulations' I could see Iceland reaching QF again. I knew Argentina wasn't that good, and winning against Croatia is also a possibility looking at the qualification. Than in the 2nd round you may get Denmark, which is also not impossible. And then it stops, cause Portugal, Spain and Uruguay are probably to strong.

I knew Croatia would win, Peru deserved at least 1 point (France improved a lot).

Good game between Denmark and Australia, Arzani will turn out a great player.

Well done to :hr: :D I was secretly hoping for this and I am glad they managed to outplay :ar: Argentina doesn't look like a team at all, Messi doesn't exist on the field and, in all honesty, this result is not surprising. Now let's hope that :is: wins tonight so that Messi can pack himself already. Well done neighbours xclap

No surprises in the other two matches. I thought :dk: would beat :au: but something is definitely missing in their games. A deserved tie in this match. Other than that, :fr: was struggling more than expected but they won on pure quality. They will almost certainly win the group altogether and then raise their form for the knock-out stage.

Today is a very important day for :rs: . I believe we are sufficiently prepared for :ch: .If we manage to keep our heads cool and if we managed to cope with their agressivenes on the field, we will have a chance to beat them. It will be hard but I think the chances are 50/50. And with the right approach, we will be one step closer to triumph.
