Such a wonderful day yesterday :D We were preparing for this opening with ::cr for a quite while and we played on a very decent level for the beginning. Maybe not so nice to watch from aside but that was really the only way we could've played against this kind of defense. I am satisfied with two things. The first is that ::cr basically didn't have any chances other than the one in the beginning and the second is that we really showed a high degree of psychological stability which wasn't the case before in our first matches. Also, the goal was outstanding xclap :D Navas rarely conceives goals such as these.

As things in our group got much more complicated due to :br: surprisingly not beating :ch: now we have no room for calculations. We have to beat :ch: to secure the next round. It will be very hard but I believe that, with this approach from yesterday, we can do it. The good thing is that :ch: will not defend against us and that is a chance to have more room when we are attacking. We will not lack motives for that duel, that's for sure.

And as for :br: I am quite surprised. I thought this team will walk over this group easily. While I definetly expect a reaction on the next match already, I think the players of :br: shouldn't underestimate their rivals the way they do. The played as if they won the title already. Just like everyone else, they will have to sweat on the field or the result will not come.

:de: surprised me quite a bit :( It's too early to judge anything but something was missing yesterday. I know that the :de: friendlies also weren't that good. There might be an undergoing crisis but somehow we didn't get the usual :de: creativity that we are used to. But I believe that this can be fixed in the 2 remaining matches.

It actually surprised me that I wasn't shocked at all that Germany lost yesterday. I was rather angry that they didn't play as a team. I think it is possible that we won't reach the next round. It will be very hard against Sweden. But hey, even if the worst scenario happens, I will cheer at others like Iceland, Serbia or Swtzerland. It would be wonderful if a smaller country that haven't won yet, get the trophy! :D I actually don't know who to cheer at today at the match Sweden - South Corea. Corea maybe? Maybe they can do it like Iceland and Switzerland? :D And hopefully Panama and Tunesia will have at least a draw!

P.S. Who I really like though is our still active player Christoph Kramer as an TV expert. He does his job better than anyone else I have seen so far. He doesn't rant like so many others. Great Job!

It is not impossible for Serbia to beat Switzerland. It would be (probably an impossible) dream come true to see Serbia and Switzerland in the next round! :D

Belgium were being criticized here a bit too much in the first half for my liking but they put it right in the second. 3 excellent goals.

A gorgeous dipping strike on the full volley by Dries Mertens. Then a lovely outside of the boot cross by Kevin De Bruyne headed home by Lukaku. And hen Eden Hazard threading through Lukaku who deftly dinked oven Jaime Penedo for his brace.

Now time to see England struggle to break down Tunisia.

It is a really exciting WC so far. All the big nations struggle a lot, the smaller ones manage to trip big teams up. :D

So proud of Harry, frikkin legend!
