Beside the Eurovision Song Contest, there are 2 more shows that I really watch every year.
1. Expeditie Robinson / Survivor
Many will know this show. Since the year of 2000, Belgium and The Netherlands send people to an island where they need to survive and win many different games. Each episode, someone needs to leave the game throughout voting. From 2000 - 2009, each country send people who aren't known in the country, but since 2010 they only send celebrities to the island. It's a great show and I've been watching it when I was a little boy in 2000!
2012 was unfortunately the last edition where Belgium had participated in, but I will surely watch the Dutch version of 2013! Here's the intro of 2012:
2. The Mole
This is my other favorite show. It was produced and invented by a Belgian company and aired in 1999, 2000 and 2002. But Woestijnvis (the Belgian producent) has some ideas to make the program again in 2013! The Netherlands had many editions of this show (also with celebrities - only since 2005)
In this show, there are 9 participants and 1 Mole, one that needs to sabotage the whole mission so there isn't much money to win at the end. It's a very nice game, but it has also some tricky mindfucking aspects in it and every episode, the contestants need to fill in a quiz with questions about the Mole. The one who has the most wrong answers in it needs to leave the game. It's always a challenge to discover the Mole! (It was also aired in the USA, Australia and many other countries and I even played and hosted it at several forums!)
