Franklin & Bash! Freaking awesome lawyer drama-comedy series with Breckin Meyer (favorite actor! known for Roadtrip! :D) & Mark-Paul Gosselaar (known for Saved By The Bell when he was young) - I say that everyone should give it a check Second season started last Tuesday :p

I'm watching The Killing, season 2. Already in episode 8 and we're getting closer and closer to the truth.

I can really recommend this series for all who love detective series (start with season 1)

No no no, I'm watching the US version (because last year I was watching the US version and I thought the actors were so excellent...). I hope very much that the murderer(s) are not the people in the series that I have sympathy for...

Gosh, such an exciting detective series. I've finished watching the episode where the female detective has found the crime scene (the 10th floor in the hotel) and seen a piece of evidence that she wanted to grab but then she got slammed at the head.

In the US version, the casino and the land surrounding it (where the girl was murdered) are property of an American-Indian tribe. How's that in the Scandinavian version?

Let's say I had a lot of sympathy for the murderer. The person was one of my favorite Danish actor/actress, so I was indeed shocked. I could never have imagined she/he could be the killer.

I've only watched the Danish version. Euhm, the girl in the first series was found in a trunk in some forest, if I remember it correctly. There was no casino involved and no American-Indian tribe :p. But the car she was found in was a car used by one of the candidates for the council elections in Copenhagen.

Scandinavian detectives (& their remakes) are the best :D! I can highly recommend Borgen & The Bridge as well!

O gawd, please don't let it be the candidate for the mayor or his female assistant, or one of the girls' relatives (mother/father/aunt).

I have a suspicion the murderer is one of the two assistants to the candidate for mayor.

Don't say anything, I will watch the last episodes in the coming week.

Now I'm a bit confused :p. The first series (Danish version) the murder on Nanne Birk Larssen and the council elections were the main focus. The second series the main subject was something that happened in Afghanistan and the army & minister of justice were involved. I watched the second series in three days !

Maybe the US & DK stories are completely different :p!

Then you should definitely watch the US version, the second season, just to compare (or several scenes) (if you have nothing to do). Maybe the US version is, contrary to the Danish one, a stand-alone spin off. The second season of the US version is definitely a sequel to the first season, because they're still looking for the murderer of the girl.

Definitely! Those Who Kill is fab too! I'm so thankful that BBC4 doesn't dub them either, I much prefer foreign language TV (which we don't get much of in the UK) to be subtitled. Spiral (French police drama) and Montalbano are pretty good too.

At the moment I'm working through DVD boxsets of Game of Thrones and Breaking Bad.

So the first US series didn't end with catching the killer? I think it has a complete different story, so I will watch it and compare it if I can find it somewhere!

Those Who Kill is still on my must see list :D. Flemish and Dutch television never dubs foreign series (except children programms), it's always subtitled. I like that 'couleur locale' of the original language. Spiral is indeed very good!

Im really enjoying the BBC's The Hollow Crown series. They're four TV films based on Shakespeare plays, created for 2012's Cultural Olympiad.
Next week is the last of the series, Henry V. Tom Hiddleston stars, he's even more of an awesome actor than I thought before!
