I like the song though, but still not winning material for me sorry ;) But it IS one of the better entries you send in the past 10 years or so.
One could say that that isnt too difficult! And no Im not actually expecting we shall win (really, sadly! :() though I would love us to and I think that we would deserve to. If I am honest about the position, I can see us getting anywhere from 2nd to 10th, it all depends on how strong the Jury vote is and if Engelbert can get older viewers voting in the Televote! If we finish below that, then I will be GUTTED! Iceland I dont expect to win either - I feel they may finish up somewhere like Yohanna did. Though in both this year and 2009 Iceland very much deserved to win imo!

The fact that you need biased juries to help... doesn't that say atleast a bit? ;) I mean what is a win if there's no public support? It's like a politician/party winning out of vote-rigging.. no legitimacy ;)

As for Iceland, I much prefer your entry to theirs ;)

Nope - you wont be able to win if you dont have their help either! ;) Our high position in 2009 was a result of jury help, and Im bloody proud of it! :D

We're used to unelected things making decisions for us here! Just need to get you used to it in Eurovision now! :p

Based on the rehearsals, I would prefer to have Macedonia, Romania, Spain or Iceland to win. For me, Kaliopi just pours her heart out on stage. Though, Romania probably has the best chance at winning tele and jury vote.

Once again ESC Forums decide that Sweden will win. Again. They're almost always wrong. I certainly don't remeber anyone predicting last year's winners. Would anyone like to claim and prove that they forsaw Azerbaijan's victory?

I like Euphoria, but there are quite a few electro-trance-style entries this year and I think others are better, like Bulgaria.

I'm not sure my favourite just yet, but I like all of these:

Romania, Malta, Moldova, Bulgaria, Ireland, Estonia, Italy, Georgia and Spain. I think France, Denmark and Germany are okay too.

If a pure pop song wins it'll be either Ireland or Malta.
If an electro-pop song wins it'll be Sweden or Bulgaria.
If it's a folky sing-along, then Romania or Moldova.
If it's a ballad then Spain or Estonia.

There are some terrific songs this year, and some real stinkers. Of those baddies, Belgium and San Marino are probably the worst, although I particularly dislike the cynicism of the Cyprus entry.

Sweden :se: ! And I am going to tell you exactly why I think so:

For the first time since ESC 1988, I think we (Sweden) has THE best entry in a certain ESC year, so I can totally unbiased say we truly deserve to win this year. Also I think, although it's a good year in general, that the song really is a stand-out one.

Contrary to what some say, there have never been an entry like that in Eurovision before. It is very much "on-trend" (which too often is rare in Eurovision) with the current dance-club sound, and I get Guetta/Sia "Titanium" vibes out of this one. It would do Eurovision good to finally have a winner that may cross-over and actually have a life AFTER Eurovision, and not just in the memory of hardcore ESC fans, and that way add some well-needed credibility to this show finally.
I think the most Guetta-esque entry this year is Malta's, not so much the melody but the arrangement and production. It's very catchy and has a wider appeal than Sweden's. As has been proved time and again, it's not just young, hip, clubbing kids that vote on Eurovision. That's also why I think Spain and Estonia will do well. Maybe even the UK, but I hope not.

I will cry if Macedonia wins. I will be happy if Italy wins. I will join the celebration if Spain wins, if Slovenia, if Iceland, if Moldova wins, let's say I will cheer if Hungary wins, or if Switzerland wins, or if Romania wins. And I won't bother if any other country win, but believe me I will snort if Serbia wins, and believe me I will grumble if Norway wins, still believe me I will puke if Turkey wins. I will certainly complain if Montenegro wins, perhaps just perish if any other Joker wins, not to mention my dizziness if Belarus wins. You will hear me cry if Russia wins.

I will feel satisfied when Sweden wins.

I want Sweden to win sooo bad, but my thoughts is that Euphoria is much much better then Running Scared, Satelite, Fairytale, Believe, Molitva, Hard Rock Halleluleja, My Number One ETC. But i also think that the songs that always have been the best (accept in 2007 and 2005), for an example, Russia should have won in 2006, Greece was the true winner in 2008, Iceland for 2009, Azerbaijan or Denmark in 2010 (still a good winner, not the best dough!) and Sweden for 2011.

But i don't wanna go off topic. I really like Sweden, it has a new heartbreaking sound and a really cool number on the stage. But i can't vote for my own country so i will vote for  in the semifinal. And probably for Iceland in final

Who do I want to win... Well my thoughts are totally uninteresting for you guys, so I just say this:

It's a really great line-up this year, so I would be happy whoever wins.
Acctually I don't hope Sweden will win this year, since there will be so much negativity spreading on this forum. And it's no fun to win a competition when everybody is mad and dissapointed. So, I hope for anyone except Sweden.

Iceland... they have been sending great entries for YEARS and this one seems to be quite liked, so it would make a great winner (maybe not a memorable one admittedly)

But can you prove it? How about linking to your post where you make the prediction? I don't remember anyone mentioning Azerbaijan as the potential winner.

I want Iceland to win and top 5 for Turkey please! :D

Who will you vote in the Eurovision Song Contest?

I will vote for Macedonia and maybe Malta in semi 2. In the final, i will vote for Macedonia, Switzerland and Iceland of course. I mean, i'm planning to do like this. I'm sure Iceland will qualify but i doubt for Macedonia and Switzerland although juries will like them. If they don't qualify, i will be sad and angry.

I've slowly shifted my mind from Sweden to Iceland. The hype around "Euphoria" has taken me aback, and I've come to appreciate the strength of Jonsi and Salome's performance so much that I feel it would be amazing for Iceland to achieve a well-deserved first victory with "Never Forget". With Malta, Iceland is probably the country that deserves to win the most if you look at its history. Now's their chance IMO.

That being said, I'd still love to see Sweden win, because it would be interesting to see what Loreen has to offer beyond an undeniably catchy tune at the ESC: will she become a Swedish Lena?
