Perhaps it is difficult to see it because of the same color as the background, but I do not know how the others.

Actually, I'd be fine with any country except :se: & :ru:

BUMP.

Now that everyone has rehearsed, has your opinion of who you want to win changed? (If so, click Unvote in the top-right corner of the poll and choose a new fave).

Also if you haven't already voted then feel free to do so ^_^

Sweden :se: ! And I am going to tell you exactly why I think so:

For the first time since ESC 1988, I think we (Sweden) has THE best entry in a certain ESC year, so I can totally unbiased say we truly deserve to win this year. Also I think, although it's a good year in general, that the song really is a stand-out one.

Contrary to what some say, there have never been an entry like that in Eurovision before. It is very much "on-trend" (which too often is rare in Eurovision) with the current dance-club sound, and I get Guetta/Sia "Titanium" vibes out of this one. It would do Eurovision good to finally have a winner that may cross-over and actually have a life AFTER Eurovision, and not just in the memory of hardcore ESC fans, and that way add some well-needed credibility to this show finally.

Also, it does a unique job in combining a contemporary clubby pop sound, with introspective and artistry... which is very rare not only in Eurovision, but in general. This is by far NOT a "cliché" performance, which it could very well be. Also Loreen IS a very good live singer.

Sorry to the rest, but I think this is the total package and deserves to win.

Song? check!
Voice? check!
Show? check!
Originality/Aristry? check!
Hit potential? check!

It's though but based on the rehearsals seen so far I'd say Iceland, Estonia, Spain or Romania.

I want us or Iceland to win. Im wanting class this year. If it is to be a more mainstreamy entry, then Norway it is for me.

Class?

Yeah, let's put Eurovision back in those dark ages when all songs sounded like 20-30 years behind the current music (and not in a charming retro way, more like DATED ), it'll totally help the contest's reputation and credibility

Everything else is classless, no soul!

Iceland is as soulless as it could get, it's extremely formulaic. In Icelandic it had some character, now... not so much.

UK's entry has soul though, in a sort of dated strict way, but still ;)

Wow you like Romania? I didn't know...

Well... I could be happy with Romania aswell :)

A Spanish or Estonian win would be a TOTAL snooze-fest next year though, although both are decent ballads.

You should already know Erik I think many things about the past were better!!

oh c'mon you're being dramatic.
Im not. I listen to Norway now (which I was like really in love with at first) and it's great to dance to on the night, but that's it. Germany the same - it is a great song, but they're both sorta just 3 minutes of music, nothing more. Very plastic, no emotions. Iceland, certainly, is much more than just 3 minutes of song, and I feel the same about our own entry too.

Somebody is bitter they changed the language. Sorry but that's ridiculous, first you praise that song and now it's trash.
It's okay if you don't like it but it's obvious it's hard to believe that.

Oh, I like music from different epochs, and not everything "current" is good (just as not everything old is either). But there's a difference between music from back in the day, and new music being dated. ;)

Well... maybe a little bitter yes ;) But it really does sound formulaic in English, I can't really put the finger on it, but to me it's different.

Well I can totally understand if you and others think that has a dated sound. I just dont see that as being important, I dont mind if a song is dated, if it is good, which I believe Love Will Set You Free is! ;)

I agree it's different and I preferred the Icelandic version, too. But I just can't see it dropping from love to total crap. Actually 4 out of 5 songs in my Top 5 are non english songs. It's a good year for those songs IMO. So I really hope one of them is going to win.

I like the song though, but still not winning material for me sorry ;) But it IS one of the better entries you send in the past 10 years or so.

I dunno, I guess when I really put the English version in perspective to the rest of the songs, and I gave some of the other Icelandic selection entries more listens, I realized that it's not that special afterall.

Now I would have chosen "Hugarró", that really IS amazing! (although it's a blatant copy of "Out of Touch")
