OMG, r there already betting odds for 2012?? I think that's very early, we have only 2 songs...
As much as I would like this prediction to be true...I'm sure these top10 will change a lot until May.;)

Odds don't say anything, especially when made that early. :D

on William Hill:

UK to receive 0 points is 16/1
UK to win ESC 2012 is 33/1

Basically it also means that if Eurovision was run 16 times, the United Kingdom would get nul points once, and if it was run 33 times, it'd win once.

The British way of writing odds is confusing. I remember the first time I saw 0/30 and was like wut?!?!?!?
I'd much prefer if the European decimal system were used here, but I guess we're stuck with the weird fractions.

For once I will concede that in this instance the European way of doing things is better than the British way!

I dont understand the european way :/

I understand the British way: 10/1 means you bet £1 (10/1) you will win £10 (10/1)

I don't understand the european way when you just have random numbers:

player 7 - 6
player 4 - 2
player 8 - 3

what does that mean?

^ That means, if you bet 1 € for Player 7 to win and if that happens, you get 6 € back. If you bet 5 € for Player 7 to win and if that happens, you get 30 € back and so on.

Basically, the "random number" is multiplied with the money you bet with, e.g. 5 € * 6 = 30 €. Understand?? :D

I predict 25 countries for the final :)

LOL...you see.....really:) ! Me too.....or maybe 26?

Yes, 26! Big 5 + Azerbaijan, as the host and 10 songs/countries from each semifinal, it makes 26!
