All in all I think all the deserving entries qualified (I would have switched Croatia with probably Malta though).

Czechia still remains my favorite this year, but I was a bit worried about the live show and staging but they did a good job xclap

Portugal is charming, and I think we should thank the fact that the juries aren't voting in the semis any longer that they made it.

It's so funny that lamer entries as Netherlands and Ireland might have made it if the juries were involved, so thankfully that's not the case.

Finland probably one the televote here, the juries will make it hard for it on Saturday I'm afraid :(

I think Sweden came second...

Also, am I the only one who doesn't like the "Rest of the World"-vote? xshrug ... it's like so open to manipulation from overhyped diaspora groups... will be interesting to analyze the outcome of that and how it may effect the general public vote, luckily it's just one group out of many.

manipulation from overhyped diaspora
It's not that huge point though, I'm glad I tried to vote but I'm aware it's just a money grab for the EBU. So that'll be the last time I'm doing so, to support the artist.

Yeah, I mean on one hand I like that real Eurovision fans outside of Europe can be involved, but I also see the risk of alot of non actual fans but rather just diaspora pushing their countries of origin using it. But yeah, like you said it's just one one group of votes so I guess in the end it doesn't matter much and for sure it's a money grab (it's the EBU we talk about after all lol). However it still could influence if the results would be close, and should "the rest of the world" (and a risk of it being lots of diaspora voting) have that say? xshrug

Well, if the audience say so, we're in for an epic treat.

Slovenia, Austria, Australia and Albania are the ones I care most today. Would also be happy for Armenia and Georgia ... The rest is nothing for me.

meanwhile i have seen the whole "big one" - xbeach
all acts had something - sometimes huge singing skills - or good stage - or visuals or a mix from all of them.

favorite armenia sounds a little bit auto tune in parts.
georgia is maybe in danger? (song is in my opinium weak, folks)
the young lady from iceland has given absolutly everything - same the albanian singer.
denmark with very frontal camera angle like the nederlands and the voice is still robotic.
greece was "hopsi-hopsi".
lithuania disneystyle with a good voice (maybe in danger too?).
san marino finally has made a very good job on stage - my biggest surprise.🎸
poland still :alien:
cyprus is a voice cheater (check the karaoketrack) but the most of the audience don't know that.
belgium is supergaaaaaaaaaaaaaay.
slovenia has the loop.
austria has won the audience (most applause here).
australia has a very nice car.
xbike

estonia was lovely as always and best clothed act. 💜

spain was perfect - the nice light hand trick is something with a digital spot think so.
ukraine act has not a good singer.
UK could do very well also after the ESC?
xqueenbitch

p.s. in the baltic battle between :lt: and :ee:
alika got a little bit more applause,if my ears are correct.

To be honest, the audience poll may not be that accurate since I doubt most of them will pay attention to what is happening on the feed onscreen as they will be focusing on the artist performing on stage and they will be easily affected by the mood of the arena. I dare say, if they look at Poland's onscreen effects (so many press are saying it's too hectic and adds nothing), they won't be so high up on the list.

Same for Armenia getting "underrated", I think it will look weird in the arena with the all the light projection on her. But once you see it on TV, I think everything will look pretty good with the camera angles and all.

I have yet watched the leaked jury show, will do that later. But that's my take on why I think the audience poll is not a good gauge.

Side track: Getting more and more worried for Poland, but then it's TVP, can't trust them to do anything right. Best form of self-sabotaging, last year was the perfect example to make a potential winning song "flop" with that disastrous staging.

After almost 2 days of SF1, the youtube views for the qualifiers + autoqualifiers are:
  1. Croatia (2.1mil)
  2. Finland (1.9mil)
  3. Israel (1.8mil)
  4. Sweden (1.6mil)
  5. Norway (991k)
  6. Czechia (840k)
  7. Serbia (786k)
  8. France (712k)
  9. Moldova (655k)
  10. Portugal (653k)
  11. Italy (606k)
  12. Switzerland (402k)
  13. Germany (396k)
Makes me wonder if Croatia is actually the televote winner instead of Finland?
