Well, Chantal Jansen is a really well liked person in our country. She is the most famous host of the three in the Netherlands and is by far the most experienced presentor(though Jan is surely trying to get there.) besides that all three are able to sing, but I feel Chantal could be able to host like Petra Mede. I think Edsilia is very bubbly, so she is fun to watch, but she is actually not known as a presentor in our country. She hasn't done any big television shows, or something like that. Though she has presented some Eurovision stuff, I personally wasn't expecting her as a host on beforehand, but after I hear about the happiness and excitement in the eurovision bubble, she probably will do great.

Jan Smit will be the knowledge guy, I may not like him that much as a host, but we can be sure he comes well prepared on stage and knows his facts.

I expect Chantal Jansen as the main host while the I think Edsilia is by far the best in the green room. Jan can do the points if he really wants.

Well, I assume they chose this edilsa or whatever because she is the person of color. They chose this Smith guy or whatever is called because he is straight married middle aged man. They chose blonde straight woman who like last year's bar rafaeöi doesn't have anything to do with esc, doesn't have charm, attitude but is probably famous and they think if they choose some model who is very famous like Israeli bar rafaeli that would attract more people to watch it and have huge share for ebu.

I remember that they mentioned cornald mass, ozgan guy. But it is what it is. I remember in 2006 yes old(er) generations will remember it.. a Dutch spokesperson greated Greek hosts by saying hi will and grace and that was epic moment (because they looked like will and grace and because that means he questions sakis sexuality and was asking for his phone number). That is a better joke than all scripted jokes of esc 2020 combined.

I just wanna say that I'm disappointed in Dutch organisation, but it is what it is. I expected too much, but they haven't hosted for abt 50 years so they are kinda newbies in all this. In that case, I forgive them.

Also thank fuck they chose Jan over Cor. I don't like Smit that much, but Maas is such an annoying pedant who would've undoubtably turned the hosting into a walking cringe.

Yeah, I don't know if that person is singer or TV host? Because she represented them once long time ago and WASN'T successful like she wanted in doing her job. Let's pray that she can host better than she can sing. This Smith guy, I can already see that he will be obnoxious. If he was only attractive, but not even that was possible.

Like I said, Dutch TV comedian who gave us one of the most epic moments in the history of esc and who had better joke than all of scripted jokes of 2020 esc wasn't even considered to host it. It is what it is.

I don’t really like any of the hosts really, but I didn’t expect to, so it is okay. Edsilia is the best for me. I don’t like Chantal at all. Jan is super excited about everything Eurovision. I kind of want him to do it, even though I don’t necessarily like him.

Let's reveal stage, logo, slogan and hosts before Christmas, but let's put 1% of effort in all of it together. I wouldn't mind that songs that will be chosen are of the low quality. It would be adequate and fitting. As Sheldon Cooper once said a disappointing drink for a disappointing day. And it's not just me, in the comments I hear a lot of ppl disliking org so far.

The logo is clever.
The stage looks phenomenal.

So far, I only heavily dislike the slogan. The Dutch broadcasters have done an incredible job so far and I'm looking forward to watching Eurovision 2020!

Edsilia came in 4th position back in 1998, and is still among the three highest ranked Dutch entries of the past four decades. Get your facts straight please.

She performed her 1998 entry Hemel en Aarde two weeks ago on the radio:

She has proven to be a great host at Eurovision in Concert and is a good singer. And she is 41, yet manages to look younger than Sieneke at the age of 18 has aged gracefully.

Just saw the stage concept. I think it is really underwhelming. A typical Florian Wiedner, take some aspects of the country ("flat"), and make a stage. Every student could have come up with this, but well. Spilled milk alredy. The colour scheme (blue and gold) is never subject to change.

If I were to take an unoriginal approach like this, I would at least try to make something great out of it and instead of flat flat flat I would ve taken giant windmill wheels with LED applications for the backdrop that rotate at a different speed for each song.

Since this rendering only shows 10% of the stage, according to Wieder himself, there could be hidden windmills on the screens. We just have to wait whatever 90% surprises are coming in May.

I don't know if this accurately portrays what the stage will be in action, but if it's something even remotely similar to this one, let's just say that I think I have my favorite ESC stage ever.
