He says that many television companies from Arab countries are often conservative.

That is actually true, Turkey did not broadcast the final of Eurovision Song Contest 2013 because Finland's lesbian kiss.

Is Turkey an Arab country? u sure what you're talking about? Also TRT had already announced that they were not going to broadcast the show when that came out.

Turkey? Arabic countries?

That "not-broadcast-because-of-lesbian-kiss" thing has never been official. Just a rumor what people say, TRT clearly said they would not broadcast because of low ratings and regular series before it was known there would going to be a lesbian kiss on the stage, like Archer also said. :)

Well, it might be a rumor but it would not surprise me if it was'nt. Turkey has becomed really conservative, Erdogan tried to ban Youtube from the country after a leaked phone message between him and his son was spread on Youtube and that you are not able to join the military in Turkey if you're gay.

that you are not able to join the military in Turkey if you're gay.

Oh come on; that also applied to the US until just a couple of years ago. Plus that's not something the current government is responsible for; the military sets their own rules and such. And it's obvious that "religion" is not a reason for that since the military is quite secularist.

Estonia is in and Eesti Laul 2015 is happening, as confirmed by the head of our delegation weeks ago. But I guess it won't be "official" until some random fansite sends him an e-mail, gets a reply, and reports it as "news".

Well it seems they're considering it. Now that San Marino qualified I guess they know they have chances to do so too.

Maybe they didn't consider that fact yet but, they qualified because only 1/3 countries failed to qualify, one more country could mean to San Marino that they wouldn't qualify as they were 10th. That's all about participation number. And other than less participation number, I can't see anything changed from other years to make them think about it again.
