Yeah, I am happy with the list too :) The same number of participants like in Belgrade. This will be a great ESC :D

I was very surprised about Slovakia. But I´m very happy about it. So welcome back to all countries and I think it will be a great event in Düsseldorf.

Today was the last day for the extended deadline the EBU granted Slovakia and it seems that they have actually withdrawn. News should be on eurovision.tv soon.

So 42 countries this year!
I hope someday (maybe next year?) will have plus:
-Slovakia/Andorra/Luxemburg/Monaco/Lichtenstain/Montenegro/Czech republic/Maroco/Lebanon
so the line up,gets to 51 countries!

Have a look at my crazy idea!
Now we have 42 participants,ok?
Except big 5,the rest one are 37.
So there will be two semis (19+18 countries).
If Slovakia participated, then it would be so simple 19 countries in each semi.
But now?
Turkey could go directly to final,so there will be 6 countries there.
Then, the semis will have 18 countries each one,and exactly tha half of them (9) could go to the final.
So big5+Turkey=6
6+9+9=24 countries!

Because Germany belongs to big5,so the next country after Germany last year was Turkey.

That's not going to happen. We had an uneven number in 2009 as well (19 vs 18) so they are not going to let turkey qualify.
