I love how the germans kept it simple without any gimicks or circus on stage :D
Lena is great and still (IMO) the top contender to win this!
and France is just fun! it makes you get up and dance like 'em

Personally I don't get all this fuss about Lena....she is just a mediocre singer with an average song....her style is just weird for me....I can't imagine her winning!

True. And if enough people love it, it doesn't matter whether the others hate her or simpyl don't care. ;)

Re: Eurovision 2010 - Rehearsals

I’m still quite fond of the German entry; I like her ‘weird’ style. But I don’t think it’ll win. Azerbaijan will, although, personally, I don’t like that song either.

The UK’s stage performance is pretty impressive. The song is still dire though, but hopefully it won’t be last. It’s nowhere near as bad as Russia, but Russia will qualify, because it’s Russia... They could put a cheese sandwich on stage and it’d still qualify.

I really like the French entry. It's a shame they brought that woman in, but it doesn't ruin things too much.

That's quite rusophobic of you! But you'll surprise yourself in just three days.

If Germany fails, people will of course blame Europe for not liking it and not Pro Sieben or whoever for making them believe they could actually win :(

Lena is weird, Estonians are weird, who else? Having a song of high quality and actually being an artist is strange? Dancing the way you like and the way you feel the music is weird? And lyircs like:"Only Mr God knows why, but his phone today is out of range" and "I’ve asked my uncle Joe, but he can’t speak" aren't? Or high pitched singing in silver pornish suit while playing a see-trough piano? I am furioussss  Enough with my favourites always being last...because they are "strange"!

It's not Pro7 who made them believe this, but the betting agencies, which are international.

I assure you I am not in anyway anti-Russian, but I will eat my hat if they fail to qualify (I'll go the shop and buy one), I'll even film myself and put the video on here for all the world to see...

I'm going to regret those words, aren't I?

Re: Eurovision 2010 - Rehearsals

ok, based on what I've heard these days we have:

Germany - weird style, vocals not very good...quite boring performance
Azerbaijan - bad staging, bad choreography, messy performance, strange dress
Slovakia - bad Ruslana copy, it looks unoriginal and it lacks power to win, as Ruslana did
Israel - not entertaining enough for the audience to win, Harel keeps his eyes closed for far too many of the close up, little chemestry with the audience
Turkey - one of the favorites, but too rockish and not strong enough to win
Croatia - a ballad that will be loved by the juries, but the audience might give it little attention, not very good staging, not very good camera work, the heart from the final is uninspiring

So who the hell is going to win this year?! :? Lithuania? :D

1. Not being an artist is strange :p her style is strange...at least for me, is just my opinion (but I can see that I'm not the only one that thinks that), and by the way she is not the only artist from this year....all of them are artists ;) Lena is just a more 'special" artist.....singing on stage with different shoes ?! lol :D
2. Paula's costume is pornish? OMG! the piano is really cool... ;) Lena will never be able to sing as Paula does, and I'm really objective right now...Lena might have her charisma but definately she hasn't impressive vocal abilities.
3. Nobody should take this personally, not everybody loves Lena, is just about tastes and opinions.

What?
I am afraid that juries would vote for other ballads (Israel and Ireland) and not for Croatia. I don't have any fear on the public where Croatia will be in TOP 5!
