This one is better: Zašto ne igraš po dogovoru? Pa igram! Ma igraš pičku materinu

Our team is just too young with a lack of experience, and the best prove for it is today game. They pre-posted that victory against Ukraine and only thinking about France in Sunday but booooom. However I know guys will play much better against France
Didn't catch that one. He is so funny, like Maljkovic hitting his own players.

Yeah, you played pretty bad. Ukraine wasn't really good, but I get you. I know how it is to watch clean balls thrown away, row of stupid mistakes in offense and defense. I think they are doing this on purpose, so they can try and escape Spain in the 1/4-final.

^^ I highly doubt that this was done on purpose. We need to solve these problems as soon as possible. We played the first match against :lt: at the highest level on the championship and that was our best match. Everything after that is worse and worse..........everyone plays worse, and there is no team play anymore. Those are the biggest problems. Two good players on the field are not enough for this level of basketball. Nedovic played marvelously the first two-three matches, but now he can't connect with the ball. He is in a drastic fall of the form, and that is up to Ivkovic why that happens. That also influences the play of the overall team because he is the first playmaker of it. Stefan Markovic was showing more than expected, and even though he IS one of the biggest guilty factors for yesterday's defeat, nobody can blame him because he also brought us those huge victories in the first round.

Another problem that I mentioned is that not every player fights on the field. Andjusic p.ussy. If I was a coach now I wouldn't let him enter not even for a second. He doesn't play defense at all, and even worse, he doesn't want to play it. Every player that he guards is certainly scoring. He couldn't even save my grandma. It is much easier for him to make a silly foul or hold one's jersey than to chase the player that he is guarding, and shut up when others yell at him because of this. Krstic yells at him all the time.

And in the attack, the only thing why he is actually on this roster is because he has a soft hand and a great shot for 3 points. Ivkovic adds him to the field so that we can turnover the match with one of those shots, and he hides all the time, on purpose. Those curses were aimed at him. But they will not help, as he is a........picketina na kvadrat. Now I have to curse as well.....

What Gagic is playing is an insult for healthy mind, but at least she shows signs that he cares, unlike the first mentioned idiot (actually, Gagic better not try this hard, we will have more success with that  ).

With all this, if something radical doesn't change, 1/4 finals will be the end of the road for us, and 7th place in the end as a fantastic result.

Spain v Finland currently 16-15, nearing the end of the first quarter... Spain may be ranked second in the world, but Finland is ready to rock. We have nothing to lose. xcheer

Congrats xcheer :D

For me, this is expected. Simply, :it: has no play under the basket and there is no inner play at all. They completely rely on the shot. When it stops, they are finished. Against such teams, the best tactics are to get them tired (along with stopping the shot itself) like you did and then smash them afterwards and use their biggest weakness (the play under the basket) to your advantage.

:hr: played a great match. They were a bit too nervous at the beginning but the 3rd quarter was excellent and that is what brought everything to the :hr: side :D

Goran Dragic is the man and Jaka Blazic at the end! Honestly Slovenia, you would have been so stupid to gamble 26 point lead in the 3rd quarter until the end of the game. I can't believe the finish was kinda dramatic. Well done though and please don't lose to Finland, coz if you do bye-bye to the first place (assuming that it would be tough for Croatia to beat Greece). It's like picking between Ukraine/Latvia or someone stronger.

Also, both Greece and Spain can't advance together after this round.

Congrats to :sl: on a deserved victory xcheer :D The players obviously relaxed too much after a comfortable lead, so the end was dramatic as a result of that, but the most important thing is the victory after all :D

Today we are playing against :fr: . It will be tough, and even tougher because of the fact that Markovic is not playing and that Krstic is hurt. But I just hope for a better play and approach than in the last two matches. :fr: is not that dominant like before, they don't look like a team, and we could use that. If we manage to find a solution for Parker, we will be closer to the victory. Although :fr: has other great players too of course like Gelabale and Batum. I doubt that Vasilije Micic can guard Parker. We need to play positional and switch guards on him or even play a plaster.

I only hope that we finally play a good match, and the result is now less important.

Today's match of Lithuania playing against Ukraine was more stressful than I had thought it will be. Anyway, victory is a victory and I'm happy for team's wonderful standing in the group. Can't be better! ^^

Well done Serbia!!! :D Bogdanovic and Nedovic (aside from Krstic) killed France in the second half. They shoot from 3 and they score, shoot from 2 and they score! France couldn't have won today even with the referees, which are by default always on their side (really, I can't stand their teams in any sport they play). As much as I like Parker and Diaw to some extent (they are Spurs boys), they were easily kept today to make any certain points. Serbia is first and my guess is that they will face Italy in the 1/4-final. Quite surprising matches so far. If anyone would have bet on all these games and guessed them all, he/she would be a millionaire.
As for France, I hope they get Spain.

Ivkovic was great today too: "Daj mi papir da to obrisem, jebem te"

Oooooooooooh maaaaaan :D. This was sick! What a game! Guys played really really good. They played as a team. And they defeated France as a team. Tony Parker was in shock :D.

And now... We should enjoy our victory and wait and see who is going to be our opponent in the quarterfinals :).

I love Spurs too :D. A great team. And Parker is a great player. But today our team was just a team. No individual play. Just team work. It was awesome!

Congrats!
Well who knows who will we play against? But it ain't important now, tomorrow we play against Greece it would be good to win, we would be the 1st in our group in that case.
So...let's go, match by match. Just like until now. Carefully and calmed. :)

If Croatia wants to be first in the group, they should win over Greece. I think Croatia will end 3rd in the group, and it would be good for them that way, because they will play Lithuania. I think they can win over Lithuania, considering how they were playing today against Ukraine.

EDIT: Spain has 2 lost matches already, so yeah Croatia needs a win to be first. Oh and yeah, it would be easier for them to play against Ukraine than Lithuania.

:rs: 77-65 :fr:

Huge victory of our national team, and I have to say that the whole impression is even better as the whole team managed to stand up after two bad matches and deliver the best performance since the start of the championship. The whole team played great, even those weakest players. We managed to stop Parker with a positional defense and by forcing and mixing it with zonal defense, we were pushing the French players out of the racquet and forcing them to take difficult shots for 3 points where they are traditionally bad. Their superb athletic qualities were neutralized and we were controling the match almost all the time.

Everyone was great, especially Krstic and Bogdanovic, but I have to say that I am delighted with how the "underdogs" Stimac and Gagic were playing. They were not scouted by the :fr: team, and they were surprises for both us and them.

Now I hope we get :it: in the 1/4 finals :D They would be ideal. :it: doesn't have any centers in the rotation, no inner play, and they strictly rely on the shot for 3 points. We should only tire them out and stop that shot as much as possible, and then fill them via the center positions, where they are weakest.
