 Serbians and their "amazing" ego against us...

There's no God out there. We sucked, our new coach is such a loser and we deserved to lose. That's it. :rs: was not that much good either. You were so much better last year.
I think Serbian commentator provoked the tv audience against us. No surprise.
Again we sucked in free throws, 3 pt shoots and last ball shouldn't have been given to Ersan, who had an awful game. The coach will absolutely be changed.

Well...after :rs: - :tr:....I'm really glad this unpleasant match is over and :rs: survived this killer grop E!
I wish our team was playing like in 1st and 2nd quarter....it's was OK (with many mistakes), rest of game was disater, but today it was enough to win and go to next round.
Like I said, I'm glad :rs: over pass the E group...I think whoever we get from the F, it will be easier and big mental blockage is gone.
I'd prefer :mk: for next rival, not because I think they're weaker then :ru:, but because I think our team would be more relaxed with :mk:, and I feel :rs: - :mk: would be more fun to watch!:D
And congrats :mk: for the good games, they've been most positive surprise in this championship so far:mrgreen:

I have no special ego against or related to Turkey, as the only thing I am especially happy about the victory is because the referees helped your team a lot in the match we played last year, and they were very nasty today as well, you have to admit it. Only that, I have nothing against Turkey and/or the Turkish basketball players. I just wanted the injustice that happened last year to be fixed, and that's all.

It's not a problem when they bring 2-3 decisions to your advantage, but in the last quarter they almost took the ball and scored instead of your players. The same story happened last year. Not to mention that the last basket you scored last year was not regular because Tunçeri was stepping on the out line.

I really have no problems for :rs: to be eliminated if we deserve to be eliminated in the next match already, but just like you probably don't like when you see that the referees are robbing you, that is how I don't like that also.

Like I said, we complicated a lot, a little because of the referee a little because of ourselves......this is not our maximum, but it was enough today.

Oh, yes and I used "God" in a metaphorical way, not real (I am agnostic when it comes to that ).

Good luck to Turkey on the next championship xcheers

:de: lost against Lithuania today, so we don´t go to the next round.
I hoped for the Quarterfinal before the Championship, but our opponents were very strong... good luck to the others!

I have to say that I will support Macedonia tonight, not because I think Macedonia would be an easier rival for us in 1/4 final, but because Macedonia is a total hit for me on this championship, and I was rooting for them all the time :D If they win, in the ex-yu derby, may Serb.......I mean a better team win :p :D

So it will be Lithuania, our opponent in the 1/4-finals. :D
:mk: - :ru: 61:63! Like two years ago, we lost again from Russia with only 2 points. Only this time we were a lot better than 2 years ago and we didn't had Gechevski for this game. I am glad we will face Lithuania. They will have the referees on their side + the crowd, but they are not unbeatable. And they don't cope well with a good defense. :) Lithuania is a great team and they will be favourites in this match, but we don't have anything to loose.

that was an unlucky lost game for us to say the least ;/ I watched it on a huge screen with 3000 people from my city when we all just lost our breath after that last shot from the Russians :(
but movin; on, we are going for the win against Lithuania!

Indeed :mk: was very unlucky in the end. You were a better team, and you deserved to win. Such defeats are always the most painful (and not to mention that this is the second time they managed to closely come out and win the match). Well, I guess now we will have to avenge you and eliminate :ru: in the 1/4 final :D

I think Serbia is much stronger than Russia, but we need to play carefully and with a high dose of responsibility. This is the most important match for :rs:

I don't think that we are stronger than Russian team.

In the last two years we had better results than Russia, and we eliminated them from Eurobasket 2009 with a clean gap as well. So, I think that shows that the quality is on our side, but again, that doesn't have to mean anything. If we suck, and they play above their abilities they could win.

I wanted :mk: cause it's a bit mystery for me (in basketball), so would be more fun then :ru:.
But :ru: is also OK.

Potential problem for :rs: will be that 1 of our player is now injured (Krstic), and another one...didn't recover (Rasic), but that's life:)

I think Krstic will recover 'till tomorrow (if this isn't a part of tactics "outside of the game"), as well as Rasic, but if not.....we'll have to change the playing style. I think we can beat :ru: without them as well.
