Playing well we lost against spain, so we have to win the matches against Lithuania and Turkey to reach the next round.

If we can't even beat the weakest team of the group, what will happen when we'll play with :rs: ???

We totally sucked in 3-pt shoots. Kerem Tunçeri had an over-awful game. And Emir, you should have passed the ball, even thrown it to space.

Wow, any team from Group E would be very hard to beat. :) My secret hope is that either Germany or Turkey will qualify, cause I believe we do have a chance against them, should we qualify in the 1/4-finals.

:lt: 67-73 :fr:

France was good again. Who would've thought a month ago they would do so well?

But i think it's a very comon thing in France and in all the sports.

In Rugby we have trouble to beat Romania or Scotland in Paris and at the world cup 10 000 km away we win against the All Blacks.

And in foot too we can win against Italy Brazil convincely and then loosing to Austria or Scotland after a total domination from them the next week, but we can also acheive a draw against slovakia before reaching the world cup semis:lol:

I think this is a french thing, because when Spain, Germany, Italy or in basket Serbia, Turkey etc are in a good phase, they stay like this and the same in they are in a bad phase. As a french supporter you never know what may come.

And i hope it won't be a defeat against Japan, Tonga & Albania & Bosnia that's in store:lol:

I don't know how to explain the way we played against Lithuania, and ESPECIALLY against Spain :? It looked like it was a training match and not a match of the European championship. To lose is one thing, but to take their pants off in the 1st quarter already without a proper fight is unacceptable for me.

It's not a shame to lose, both teams are the favorites for the gold, but this apathy and complete dejection is what really irritates me. If I was the coach, they wouldn't have left the hall after this embarrassment they offered play-wise. Such access is a shame for an average team too, and not to mention how huge it is when we speak about the country that aims for the very top.

Everything will fall down the river if we beat and eliminate :tr: now, as well as (probably) :ru: in the 1/4 final. But with the style we demonstrated yesterday everyone can beat us.

They have one more chance to recover what they lost in the last two matches tomorrow, and that is their last credit from my side.

It's said that :rs: was beaten to :es: because of some tactics of Ivković?

:tr: can't. This year our team is just awful :(

I doubt it, although I truly hope that is the case. Many things are not functioning in our play since the match with France. We looked like a broken gang. However, if he sacrificed those two matches in order to pass this phase (and probably the next one), then it is something else, we'll see.

If we play like we played against Spain, you will win undoubtedly. I don't expect an easy match here today no matter who wins at the end.

And well done to Macedonia for the victory! :D They are one of my favorites on the championship! Bo McCaleb rocks :D (he's even better than he was when he played in Partizan :D)

The referees were "amazing" today. FIBA is truly criminal organization. Thanks God we won even we was very week, especially in attack.

But it's not big surprise if you play against 8 players (5 Turks and 3 referees)

The referees can't score instead of the team they are pulling through, that is certain now :D

We have now returned what was stolen from us in the last championship, we sent Turkey home, and that is a sign that there is something called "God" out there. We complicated a lot in the end, it could've been over in the second quarter already, but it is a lot sweeter like this. These referees are a shame for basketball. Well, it's over now, :ru: or :mk: are our next rivals.

 Serbians and their "amazing" ego against us...

There's no God out there. We sucked, our new coach is such a loser and we deserved to lose. That's it. :rs: was not that much good either. You were so much better last year.

It seems we have a choice, whether or not we want to play against Serbia or Lithuania (unless Germany wins 11+). Not much of a choice, to be honest.
Ehmm, we could play against Lithuania better, I suppose. Lithuania is very strong and plus it is the host (+ referees will be on their side ), but they are not unbeatable. Serbia is very tough as well. On the bright side, I am glad we are skipping Spain and France in the 1/4-finals. :)
