Switzerland is showing great courage. If the opposing team does not close the game, Switzerland will always find a way back into the game. This is a team that never dies! This Switzerland is playing like Germany! xclap

It must be said that Switzerland's strength is also in its coach Petkovic (who for the uninitiated has also coached in Italy). The role of the coach is often underestimated (often only excellent "locker room managers" like Zidane or Luis Enrique are preferred). On the other hand, a coach who "can read the game" and motivate his men is important.

For Italian commentators, the red card is exaggerated. They defined Freuler's tackle as a "faded red". It is true that Freuler hit the Spanish player hard but the intervention was not uncomfortable (legs low and not high) and he did not want to hurt his opponent.

If Switzerland wins, I say it out loud, the Swiss national team becomes one of the favorites for the European Championship. Switzerland, after all these years of football growth, deserves it. I would be happy for themxlove

If Switzerland should really keep the draw until the 120th minute and if it goes into penality, then everything's possible. But ... I doubt that with 10 players they will be able to keep their goal clean for another 15 minutes ...

The German commentators said the same!

I agree with you, Mauve. 30 minutes of extra time, after the fatigue against France, are very complicated. It is true that Spain is no longer that of 2008-2012 but it is always a national team with great quality.

You losers. Switzerland did it.

Although I am afraid they might not win again with penalties. Let's hope they keep surprising us!

Poor Switzerland ... I feel terribly sorry for them. Fought and fought and lost in the penalties ... Congrats Spain! And well played Switzerland!
