Yep it's pretty sad that Spain and Portugal probably will face each other in the semi-final instead of the final!
You know what, I think we'll have a repeat of the Euro 2004, Portugal vs Greece :lo:l
Only this time Portugal will win, obviously
Speaking seriously, who knows if they wont be able to defeat Germany tomorrow!

People just want to hate instead of being happy for those teams that are winning their games. And I don't understand it at all.

Of course the Greeks can handle Germany. There is no unbeatable team. But I have a feeling Germany will go through.

That's it??
I'd say Portugal is actually the weakest team in the semi-final (provided that Greece doesn't qualify), and I for one want them to leave, so that theory is just wrong. We do want the weaker teams to leave.

But congrats on the victory nevertheless. :)

Your opinion. The only teams that did better than :pt: were :de:, :es: and :en:. If :gr:, :fr: and :it: qualify, then :pt: won't be the weaker team as you claim. The pressure continues...

If Greece beats Germany tomorrow...I'll boycott the rest of the Euro's. Greece is the most boring team in the world and Germany is the only team left I care about so don't even start throwing out things like that.

Go :de:!

You can't make conclusions on the team's overall qualities and strengths by comparing their points in the group stage just like that. If numbers and points were always a determining factor, that'd mean we should actually start taking the FIFA World Ranking seriously too.

France and Italy are, in my eyes, stronger than Portugal on so many more levels and the fact that they may not have impressed in the group stage doesn't mean they won't now. Out of all teams, you've pointed out, these two teams always "grow bigger" as the tournament progresses. France and Italy are made for knock-out stages so I'd say they might even be the two strongest teams in the semi.

Whether it will be Spain or France in the semifinal (I predict France), I'm sure that Portugal will be in the final and I have a feeling that they will win it.

I hope so :D
I actually think there's a strong chance of the final being Portugal vs Germany..I really have a feeling that will happen.

I think the Greeks deserve to have something go right for once :). And interesting Im pretty sure you predicted England to loose every match so far, but we came first in the group ;)

After the match with Ukraine, England proved that appeared in the quarter finals by accident. If not for the judge (who incidentally was fired from the Euro), Ukraine would have won. England played disgusting.

Its such a shame actually I didn't consider the luck of the english while predicting, but no worries, Italy will send you where you should've been by now. :p

Sorry, I was actually replying to Kristi. But anywayz you're mad lol. We would have been in the quarters anyway, even if Ukraine had scored, and they would still have been eliminated :D And their goal was offside so wasnt deserving anyway =)).

We'll see, the Italians arent too optimistic :)
