Okay... but it seems that even with a 1:1 draw, Croatia would be out, so...

It won't , because Croatia would have more given goals than Italy,so Croatia would be in ( more deserved imo,Italians scored just one goal ( against Spain ) from real opportunity . All other from breaks  )

Not happy about Croatia's early departure. You guys did great and you can be proud of your team no matter what :(

I agree with you Matt :( :( I'm so sad :( But I'm really proud on all players, today especially on Schildenfeld,Mandžukić and Modrić :)

Oh, what a boring and terible match. I'm so disappointed. I didn't like my team today, neither Croatia.
I'm so sorry for my Croatian friends. It's true that the referee was horrible. Spain has suffered this sometimes in the past and I know how it feels :(
Great atmosphere between Spaniards and Croats today as well as with the Irish fans the other day. Even Spaniards were cheering for Croatia in the end to get and draw and qualify. Here in Madrid as well :)

BTW what's with Croatia and the flares. That was disgusting and it's their own country that they damage, cause they will get a big fee by the UEFA.

I'm not enjoying the knockout phase. If we defeat Czech R., we certainly will have to play against Spain (again) in the semi-final xcry1. And I wanted so badly to reach the final. -O- Well, anyone from the 4th match would be dreadful (Italy, or England/France) too. But Spain is just dangerous. xjason

BTW it seems the German referee paid us back what the Spanish referee helped them yesterday...

I was reading that there would have to be at least a 2:2 draw in order for Croatia to progress (if Italy defeat Ireland)

There were some rumours that if Croatia light flares once again,or something worse, that we can be automatically eliminated from EURO 2016  But think that will not gonna happen . But I will not be suprised with -6 points or something like that :?

I was so nervous in last minutes, but match was boring. But think that Croatia had better chances, and Croatia and Spain deserved to qualify, because they are both better by far than Italy.Italy has a lot of luck really :(

That Stark is so stupid ! I can't really believe how can he be on this big tournament and he doesn't even know his job :?

No , if Spain and Croatia finished 2:2 , Spain and Croatia would qualify no matter what( Italy could win Ireland 10-0 , no matter )

1:1 would be enough because Croatia would have better goal difference , Italy : 4 2 --> +2 ; Croatia 5 3 --> +2 -> Croatia would qualify because would have more given goals than Italy.

That wouldn't be fair IMO. I don't agree with changing the results the teams achieve in the field.
And after all, it's all hosts' responsability ;)

Meh, what can I say... :( I hope our Irish friends would help us, but no. Slaven Bilić thank you so much for leading this team all this years. He's been the coach for 65 matches and we lost only 8 of them(2x :en:, 2x :es: :ge: :tr: :mk: :se:). Impressive ain't it. :D I wish you luck in near future in russian league to be exact, thanks for bringing hope to croatian football.
Our next coach will be also a bronze medalist from France '98 Igor Štimac. I don't like him that much but it's not up to me. Thanks everyone for your support. :D

Slightly worried about playing either Italy or Spain if we qualify
Don't be. If they play like they did against Sweden (but better in the defense), then they can win over either one. Spain was good against Ireland, but that was it. Italy is good so far, but I can see England winning. :D

OH MY GOD... dont get my hopes up! :D :D

What I love about this year's Euro's is that we started off with absolutely zero hope, but now England is believing in our team, and we're ready to unleash Rooney too!
