My thoughts about Group B:

- Germany: impressive 9 points (3 wins); dangerous team
- Portugal: amazing 6 points; they were unlucky against Germany but this is also a strong team
- Denmark: good surprise but it wasn't enough against Portugal or Germany
- Netherlands: a total disaster (what the hell happened?)

Portugal 2-1 Netherlands

The final whistle is blown. David Crossan, Metalist Stadium: Cristiano Ronaldo scored twice as well as hitting the post on a couple of occasions and the Real Madrid CF forward lit up the game, as did Rafael van der Vaart of the Netherlands. With Ronaldo in this form, Portugal will fancy their chances against Czech Republic in Warsaw.

Denmark 1-2 Germany

The final whistle is blown. After few alarms, Germany are comfortably through to the last eight where they will meet Greece. Although Michael Krohn-Dehli momentarily restored parity, Joachim Löw's side were always in control and made their dominance count when Lars Bender slotted in the second for his first international goal ten minutes from time.

People shouldn't have underestimated since the beginning. This was the the Group of Death, and every one knew would qualify. The point is: hadn't the same experience and strenght. against is always unlucky (in the last 10 games they only won 1). A difficult group, but deserved to qualify. Anyone could qualify. It is what it is.

Wasn't the best game of our team as the Danes had a lot of opportunities to score. Besides, the referee didn't award a penalty to the Danes after the foul of Badstuber. Lucky us
In the end I'm quite sad that the Danes had to go, their defense was good and Bendtner is awesome. Anyhow, in the next round we will face the Greeks which will probably be the most political match of the Euro 2012 ...

It seems the next FIFA ranking issue will change drastically. wiill go #2, will probably go top 5 (or at least #6) and both and will be out of the top 10.
