The vocals were weak and they were weak on the rehearsals, so I guess this fanwank went through an old glory. Therefore A-lister should be happy, because this qualified thanks to the song, not the performer. This song has a horrible draw, so we'll see how it goes. Nowhere near the Top10, I think.

You said many things, but none of them made any sense. Vocals were Ok, she didnt miss a note (you cant say that to many other performers), old glory is there only for ESC fans like you, but 95% of points come from people watching/hearing it for the first time (+ jury). A-lister is funny guy who comes to complain here time to time how he wanted Shakira to represent Estonia. Knowing there are 20+ performers and Estonia got through, has been rated as one of the favourites I`d say its more likely to be in top 10 than be out of it (definitely will be NEAR top10). I predict 6-11 place.

I think, her voice wasn´t good, but she made a good performance, which I liked a lot. With a better voice tomorrow, this can be a big favorite.

Buy a new TV because she sounded great here:confused:

I was pleasently surprised. She sounds very good (indeed her voice is not "strong", but it suits the song perfectly and she sang very well!). But the dancing was a bit too casual.

But she was so self-confident! She didn't lose her nerves at all (unlike Eric Saade). I'm so proud of her.

The vocals were weak and they were weak on the rehearsals,
Head of our delegation Mart Normet and the composer Sven Lõhmus both said that the jury rehearsal was our best rehearsal so far, so I don't know what you are talking about...

I also think she shined with self-confidence but her voice could definitely improve 'til Saturday, she seemed out of breath a couple of times. But still really nice over all, congrats.

Sorry but the song is still crap imo. If this will define "modern" while more actual modern songs fails, then Eurovision is in deep problem.

A-Lister reminds me of a pensioner, who always complains about "modern" things  (no offence ;))

I don't hate modern, this song is not modern though. It's three Euro trash songs thrown into one basically with a singer singing like Aqua Lene.

Pensioners might consider this "modern" though.

Why so bitter and negative? And what do you expect? This is the perfect song for Eurovision - catchy, simple and if you insist, stupid fun. I bet you're the one who thinks Abba's "Waterloo" is also overrated and lame. The time when deep, slow, melodic songs won the first place, seems to be over. Thank Ruslana for that...
Estonia's Urban Symphony tried with a ballad and it reached 6th, now they try something completely different again. You got to respect that.
And if you think Getter can't sing, watch her acoustic perfomance of this song on YT - she has a beautiful voice. Comparing it to Aqua's Lene is actually a compliment, "Turn Back Time" is one of the best '90s pop songs. Bu we all know that if you want to catch attention, you have to sometimes come up with a song like "Barbie Girl" or "Rockefeller Street". And if you succeed, then you can touch souls with songs like "Turn Back Time" or "Me Kõik Jääme Vanaks" ("We All Get Old"). It's that simple and it's only your fault if you don't get it...

In the end it's about taste, I never said that having something "simple" and more poppy is something bad, but I just can't find myself liking this song and that's just it.

Also my main reaction is people making this song look like something it is not. It is not very modern or unique, it's just a simple pop-dance tune and that's it.

As for Aqua Lene it's more the tone of her voice than if she can sing or not I mean, that's also a matter of taste and opinion.

One thing do: Do not put that MASTERPIECE Urban Symphony send next to this plastic stuff, and Urban Symphony was not "just a ballad", it was a unique mystic ethnic song.. by far not your everyday Eurovision ballad. And why using Urban Symphony as a bad example? It gave Estonia one of its best position ever in this contest.

I think, also ballads can win, if you remember "Molitva". It´s interesting, sometimes catchy songs are on the top and the other year ballads. This year, it could be a ballad-year, because there are many silent songs in the final.
I was sure, that Getter will reach the final. But now I´m very exciting if she can win at all. I´m not so sure about that. Good luck, Getter.

Anyways, success ratio in semi-finals under Juhan Paadam's regime: 0 out of 5; under Heidy Purga's regime: 2 out of 3. xup

Because Eesti Laul is SOOOO much better as a national selection than Eurolaul was. Unfortunally you end up sending the wrong ones (imo offcourse).

This song is great and I won't be surprised if it received more points from juries than televoting.
