It's time for the rehearsals to finally get underway for Eurovision 2024 at Malmö Arena! 37 countries will begin their preparations for this year's contest today, with over two weeks of coverage to come from the ESC United team on the ground!

Cancel the contest and then just air all the recorded rehearsal performances on Saturday to complete this year's special edition like what they did in 2020. Sweden will get to host 2025's contest in Malmo or a different city. Everyone loses, YAY!!!!

Yes, I'm hearing this now too. RTVE has just released a statement demanding "freedom of expression" or leaving the contest.

The statement doesn't say they'll leave. Only that they have asked the EBU to ensure freedom of press and respect the media.

Press room is full with journalists all scrolling like teenagers, no official has told them when to expect it now, only the earlier statement that one will only come from the EBU and be shortly is still expected. Are MO and the EBU discussing how to guarantee safety or statements?
