i'm not awake enough to analyze correctly the running order, so i'll just say that the previous winners were 22, 11, 21, 10 (I came back till 2015) so Slovenia Cyprus France or Italy, that was my 2cents lol

She wasn't off key most of the time, but at a few occasions, yes. Just like the bigger part of tonight's contestants. The real problem is that she was often out of breath and it really showed.
I like the studio version anyway and I am glad I could discover her.

Yeah, it was mostly a problem with good resonation. Well, English is not my native language so I sometimes overuse terms like off-key when they are not appropriate. But she was definitely off-the-key on the highest notes towards the end. Those were very unpleasant sounds.

Semifinal 2 (My ranking) :
1. Austria (Paenda - Limits)
2. Romania (Ester Peony - On A Sunday)
3. Moldova (Anna Odobescu - Stay)
4. Croatia (Roko - The Dream)
5. Ireland (Sarah McTernan - 22)
6. Latvia (Carousel - That Night)
7. Lithuania (Jurijus - Run With The Lions)

I got almost the worst possible result.

It seems it's between The Netherlands and Australia... Potentially Switzerland and maaaybe Italy. I wouldn't mind seeing any of those winning, but for me the Netherlands was clearly the best, it was jut wonderful.

I think that Chingiz was ''lipsyncing'' these notes at the end with backing doing the whole job necessary. :D  ;)

Chingiz basically did the song entirely by himself with the help of the backing vocalists during the chorus. Only two ad-libs were done by the backing vocalist especially when the first one he had to do the mugham.

The song is actually one of the hardest songs to sing in the competition. Singing in a lower register during the verses to a falsetto in the chorus. No one can sound that good without the help of backing vocalists to achieve the studio version effect.

So I seriously wish people stop saying Chingiz over-relied on the backing vocalists. If anything, the backing vocalists were there to help him achieve the studio cut version during the chorus.

Netherlands vs Australia is the impression I'm getting too.

I don't see Iceland doing it, even if they ran away with the public vote the juries would drag them down. (and I doubt they'll even run away with the public vote anyway)

I could see France as well maybe? They seem to have huge amounts of buzz around them.

So I'll say its looking like Netherlands vs Australia vs France.

Someone mentioned it elsewhere but I think Switzerland might take a hit due to being in a final with many other "bops" to vote for. Not a big hit but probably enough to ensure they're not winning.

When Chingiz went for the final scream, the chorus part sung by the backing singers sounded exactly the same as before then Chingiz "sang". And I had doubts before that the chorus was Chingiz' part.

We can now confirm that last night in the second Semi-Final, the difference between the act that finished 10th and 11th was just 1 point! Out of the 10 who qualified, juries and viewers agreed on 7 of them. Your vote matters! #Eurovision #DareToDream

North Macedonia probably saved by juries. Austria probably killed by televoting.

I don't know on what audio device you used to listen. I listen the performance using my earphones, you can tell when he did the mugham part, the chorus sounded softer with a one less vocal. Then after Chingiz finished the mugham and joined in, the chorus got fuller with his voice added. There's no doubt that Chingiz sang his part in the chorus. The only thing I can think off is the mixing last night wasn't the best, he could be drown out by the backing vocalists. But you can definitely hear him sing during the chorus.

Wow, more drama incoming Sunday early. 1 pt, that's sad (for the NQ). But that's Eurovision. It's like that in any other sports, in exams, basically everywhere in life.

Why are many of you so sure Norway has been liked by the public mainly? If I was a juror I'd definitely voted for that because it matches jury criteria. Originality, traditional elements, part in a native language, all wrapped in a catchy ESC-friendly pop-blanket, fun performance (but not too ridiculous) and fun on stage, also it has vocally improved.
