If somebody from 2nd half is winning ESC, I'd put my money down for :is: or :au: rather than :ch:

Christer doesn't want to give number 1 to Sweden lol

He wouldn´t have given it too you or :ru: either if it would have been uptempo songs.

But you sees conspiracy everywhere it seems

In fact he does, but only at the end of the final, not at the beginning.

Some weeks ago I predicted Norway‘s gonna win. Now more than ever. Not because they are 2nd half but almost all of the faves are in the first half. It will stand out, plus, it‘s a typical Eurovision song that will get points from almost every country. PLUS, I would win 1000 Euro because I bet 10 Euros on them when the odds were as low as 1/101, lol.

But the other half of me wants Sergey to win because... a hundred reasons.

So money or love, which should I go for? :D

Eurovision Song Contest 2019 Second Semi-Final Results
Here are the results, which were announced in a random order at 22:04 BST. Any use of "tonight" still means Thursday 16 May 2019.

My desired qualifiers: Switzerland, Sweden, Croatia, Malta, Russia, Albania, Norway, The Netherlands; plus two (and no more!) of Denmark, Austria, Lithuania, North Macedonia, Azerbaijan.

Actual qualifiers (in order of announcement): North Macedonia, The Netherlands, Albania, Sweden, Russia, Azerbaijan, Denmark, Norway, Switzerland, Malta.

Bold entries represent the actual qualifiers that match my "Definitely want to qualify" preferences, and italic entries represent the ones that match my "Wouldn't mind qualifying" preferences.

OUT: Armenia, Austria, Croatia, Ireland, Latvia, Lithuania, Moldova, Romania.

My comments about which countries qualified, and which didn't, are available here:

Sweden's spot for the final will tell alot about the SF results. Christer will definitely do everything in his power to tank Duncan and promote John if it was a head to head race between the two. If :se: gets a one digit rank, we should know that he had no chance to win the semi anyway and the winner was clearly :nl:.

Interesting that the top favourites :se::ru::nl: all will be in 1 st half.
Also interesting to see which one of them that will get the later draw, that will probably indicate who did the best in the semi?

Russia won’t get the best spot even if it won the semi...
(Besides there is no good or bad spot imo)

I'm pretty sure that my girl Jess Mauboy did great on Itunes after her semi which hyped me up but that didn't end well sadly so not sure if it's got anything to say to be fair

She didn´t chart that well if I remember correctly, that + every vote she could have got went to "Fuego" instead and...

Damn it, i feel sorry for Serbia, that's a death spot.

Iceland will stand out no matter where but that's still a great spot IMO.

Australia is going for it.
