I hoped Russia would not qualify, sadly it did.
On a positive note, Hungary, Netherland, Austria and Malta qualified.
So sad for Greta and Iceland.

I didn't have Croatia or Armenia so I got 8/10. Netherlands was my favourite but the pause spoils the feel good flow of the song. I wonder why they added this. And please Amir sort out your falsetto vocals for Saturday. This is France's contest to lose.

I thought the pause was a smart move. Made it less repetitive towards the end.

Ah, most things went just as expected for me here, it’s only that screwed my predictions over like with so many of you.
Can’t believe has lost its 100% qualification record. For a few years already, I’ve been wondering which country would be the last to keep its 100% rate, and I’m sad to see one country which has, in my opinion, nearly always sent unusual quality music out of the race.

And my mum, as a proud Bosnian, is fuming about and cursing every single qualifying country. It’s quite fascinating actually. She’s going through every single qualifier and pointing out everything that made those undeservedly qualify above Bosnia. I swear, sometimes I think that in my family, it’s not me who takes Eurovision too seriously.

Here are the results, which were announced in a random order at 21:57 BST.
My desired qualifiers:
Greece, Moldova, The Netherlands, Russia, Cyprus, Austria, Iceland, Bosnia & Herzegovina, plus two (and no more) of Croatia, Czech Republic, Estonia, Azerbaijan, Malta.
Actual qualifiers (in order of announcement):
Azerbaijan, Russia, The Netherlands, Hungary, Croatia, Austria, Armenia, Czech Republic, Cyprus, Malta.
Bold entries represent the actual qualifiers that match my preferences.
