- I'm glad for Ukraine winning
I prefer both Ukraine and Australia to Russia (but I wouldn't mind Russia winning as well)
- I was hoping that Croatia would be in TOP20, but I'm glad that we were at least back to the final after 20 years too bad that today's live performance wasn't good
- Bulgaria finishing 4th is a nice result, great entry glad that France and Armenia did well too
- Serbia, Hungary, Croatia, Czech Republic were definitely underrated :/ and Czech Republic getting 0 from televoting was
- BiH and Macedonia 11th in semis they were underrated
- What's up with Poland finishing last in jury since they returned? They are always weak on jury and strong on televoting

I must admit, I thought Ukraine had the worst song in the final. It is really not my taste. The jury robbed Austria and Poland. The only good thing about the jury is, that they prevented Russia from winning. Their song was average and them winning because of their special effects, would have been lame, too. From the top 5 I liked the song from Australia the most, but I am still glad, they didn't win, too. Why are they at the ESC? They shouldn't be. Just like Justin Timberlake should have stayed at home. Overall I am sad to see some of my favourite songs lower in the ranking. Often I wondered, what the jury was thinking. I can say the same about the televoters, too. Some weird tastes all around.

I was never a big fan of the song, but the performance was so touching. I was soooo cheering for Ukraine in the end to avoid Australia or Russia winning. This was indeed the fairest possible result.
BTW Strange voting indeed. Please, someone tell me how in hell could Poland finish 4th in televoting. That was so random. Everyone at home was like WTF. Their jury result seemed to be the reasonable one. That was one of the weirdest thing I've ever seen in ESC.

Great show, I am really happy about most of the results.
It was the fight between Russia, Ukraine and Australia that I was guessing, and suprising enough Ukraine won. I really like it!
Just sad about us getting the last place, but thats life. Congrats!

I was kinda expecting it after I saw earlier today that his Semi 2 performance has 1.1 million views on Youtube, seems like Youtube views can be good results indicator

Charismatic singer and optically memorable look. The stage effects looked pretty, too. That helps to elevate a song, which I thought wasn't too bad to begin with.

Keep the juries. Their results were so disparate, it made it really interesting. Without them it would have been a boring 3 hour fight between Ukraine and Russia with Russia winning. Glad for Ukraine, very sad but beautiful song. Bulgaria did great too, well deserved. U.K. We're doing g so well until the televote came in. Plus ca change. meh.

It's all over now. Ukraine won with 534 points. Fair enough, I'm surprised, I didn't think Ukraine's style of song could win, but congratulations to Ukraine in getting their second win to-date. Ukraine - winners 2004, 2016. 12 years gap between wins. Commiserations to Australia, I was convinced they would win, but Ukraine had the second highest number of televoting points and overtook them. The country with the most televoting points, who was last to be called out was Russia, but nonetheless finished third overall. A full report about the Eurovision Song Contest 2016 Grand Final will follow on my blog in the next few days.

Russia gave 10 points to Ukraine and Ukraine 12 points to Russia. Are they making it seem like they hate each other in a song contest or something? Not to mention the fact that whenever Russia didn't get votes Ukraine did and vice versa

Can it be something about the Ukrainian song/lyrics... reminding all the other eastern countries to vote for Ukraine instead of other countries????????? Perhaps...???

Re-watched the announcement and Bulgarian delegation ran to us, Poli (voted for her tonight + 5 other entries) & Ja started hugging & celebrating - it was really touching.
