The following 5 countries, which participated in ESC 2018 have not yet announced their participation for ESC 2019: Armenia, Italy, Moldova, Russia, San Marino.

Is there any reason why their broadcasters are taking so long to decide whether or not to take part in the ESC next year? I thought the deadline to confirm was 15 September 2018, but I noticed several countries' broadcasters confirmed later in September than that. It's now 4 October 2018, so have the said countries' broadcasters left it too late to confirm?

Well personally I would feel a bit let down if these countries don't confirm participation since I usually like their entries
And ESC without San Marino is not ESC

Some of them probably wont confirm their Participation seperately, but will be announced when the EBU reveals the Participationlist.

The list of candidates for the Eurovision Song Contest in Tel Aviv is limited to only four candidates. Maybe you know some of them, maybe you've even seen most of them, one sure you know. These four:

lucy hayub:

The youngest of the candidates, Israeli-Arab journalists of the public broadcasting corporation "Kan", in 2018, she was chosen by the corporation to be the Israeli representative to submit the Israeli score results in the last Eurovision contest held in Portugal.

Erez Tal:

Veteran of the group and also appears to be the most leading candidate for the Eurovision Song Contest among the four.

He has been a member of the media for a long time on television and radio. Recently, he is well known in Israel for directing the Israeli version of the "Big Brother" realty content for nine years, until 2017. Erez is also the man who broadcast the final Eurovision final in Portugal to viewers in Israel.

Shiri Maimon:

It is not necessary to present to the site that specializes in the Eurovision Song Contest, Israel's representative to the 2005 Eurovision Song Contest in Kiev, with the song "Hasheket Shenish'ar" that led it, until the fourth place.
She is currently occupying additional peaks when she performs with the musical "Chicago" in the lead role in the musical.
Will she make the Eurovision Song Contest as the host? There is a chance.

Lior Suchard:

A sensory artist, a mentalist. Which has appeared in many countries including Australia, the United States, Russia and India. He was frequent guest of Jay Leno's show.

It's way better than All Aboard! and Celebrate Diversity tbh, but the slogan hasn't been interesting from the 2013 edition forward

Sometimes the simplest words can have the most impact. For me, this is what Eurovision is all about: having a dream to represent your country and show it off to the world, and finding the strength and determination to make it come true on stage

"Dare to Dream". Not better, not worse than the other bunch of slogans we've heard over the years. I really dont care too much about the slogans though, I'm quite indifferent to the fact that the slongas have become another ESC tradition.
