So it’s official now. This is by far the worst contest since I don’t know... think I have to dig a lot to find something annoying songwise again.
At least some of the latest released songs saved this year for me. The good thing is I‘m not overly nervous for my favourite to win because I have no clear one :D
So I will sit back and cross my fingers for Russia, Israel or the Netherlands or someone with a good voice and a heartwarming melody (heck, I‘m rooting even for Germany) in between all the noise this year. Or SERHAT! *lol*
Let the Pre-Eurovision Song Contest begin. I‘m happy to see some „big ones“ failing! :-)

Sweden never has to worry about a bad draw.

Actually last year Sweden had a bad draw in the final since they appeared before the contenders for the win!

Oh noes! I really hoped the Israelis would actually like to do the running order by themselves. But it's like the past couple of years, I suppose they don't have a say on this matter. It can't be otherwise, because this task is not rocket science.

Björkman tires me. I'm ready for the same countries to have more or less the same starting positions as before. Yikes.

Every year, someone new (preferably from the host nation) should be in charge of this instead. We would avoid the same predictable biases and patterns again and again.

I think they should have like a 5 person group and they rotate it each year as to who does the running order.

I'd sort of prefer if we returned to the random order. :'D it's the fairest system and stops any of this talk over being biased. A few similar songs being together never bothered me in the past, and it wouldn't in the future. It's certainly something people could live with for the sake of fairness, and really, your average viewer wont give a damn.

Tumblr, mostly.
I'd sort of prefer Christer retired from music altogether.

i wouldn't even mind björkman in eurovision so much (emphasis on that because... christer björkman retire bitch etc) if he wasn't also still the producer of melfest. he really should only have one of the jobs or else it's a conflict of interest.

I'm fine with it being the producer but what bugs me is that he still have multiple hats. So just retire from the HoD of Sweden and work for the EBU. I think we all know that at some sort of point in the future he'll take the place of Jon Ola Sand.

He is not the HoD for Sweden in ESC anymore, that is nowdays Karin Gunnarsson.

Why Sweden? Sweden doesn’t scream winner to me at no time ever!

If I put aside my subjective preferred songs and try being objective what the masses like and include the voting patterns, the typical voter, etc. I think the winner this year will be

Up to this day, I thought that was how it works. Is Björkman in charge of running order every year? :?

Are there any information on how the staging for some delegations will look like? Or is the delegation meeting tomorrow??
