I can't see either Sweden or, especially, France winning.

I'd say it's between Netherlands, Italy, Russia, Switzerland and Azerbaijan. Idc if most of them aren't in the "top three" in the odds. Most likely, it'll probably just end up being Netherlands after all. Just like last year, despite some underwhelming reaction to Israel's rehearsals, nobody else emerged as a strong enough contender to overtake them. Compare that with 2017, when Italy's underwhelming reaction allowed for Portugal to emerge as the alternative favorite.

Even with the SanRemo Performance (without cut) Italy would not have had any chance against Salvador.

updates :

Russia is back in 3rd place to win
France dropped from 3rd to 5th place to win
Australia climbed the odds and is now 4th place to win
followed by
Azerbaijan, Italy, Switzerland, Iceland and Malta close the top 10.

Netherlands has made substantial gains the past couple of days and is now back to a 26% probability of winning, double that of Sweden. If Duncan holds onto this, I don't see anyone catching him

26% probablity of winning = 74% probabilty of someone actually catching him. Just saying :-) ;-)

I don't know why :nl: is leader, his song is a piece of nothing and sounds like 11th-15th place in the final.

Eleni was at ~38%, Netta at ~22% right before the final - just to add some context.

Who was the last ESC winner to win from wire to wire in the odds (meaning, from the time of their song release to their victory)? I think it was Emmelie, but I'm not sure

Maybe Sweden in 2015? I think, there was no other #1 in the betting odds between the NF-Season and Eurovision.

Well, if :nl: win I don't think it will be as clear as the bookies predict.
We have many strong contenders, not only Sweden but also Russia & Italy.

Of course Netherlands is the favourite but it will be close and exciting, as it should be.

Don't ignore Australia.

Still not sure if that´s going down well with the juries, remember :ro: 2013

Hardly the same thing, is it? Also, I don't remember Cezar being 3rd favourite to win.
