Do we already know the advert break schedule for the grand final? What was the situation in 2017, 2016, ...? I can't remember and couldn't find information about it

At this point I am pretty sure it's Cyprus vs. the #3 country in televote if they get a much higher placement in the jury vote. (or #2 if Israel doesn't get the 2nd place in the televote, I can't see them finishing higher than Cyprus in the jury vote). So... Cyprus vs. France/Lithuania/Czech Republic. But it will be incredibly hard to defeat Cyprus, they will have a huge lead in the televote, the other countries basically need another huge jury intervention like in 2015 and in 2016 (in both years the televote winner was outside of the jury Top5)

The video quality of tonight's performances on YouTube is finally so much better. Glad they changed something.

I absolutely LOVED SF2, SF1 was so overrated imo I didn't like it much at all! But SF2 I loved from start to finish. Such a great show and I definitely feel Eurovisiony now Great job Portugal!

One of the best things about this year is how great the contestants are too, BBC Four has been interviewing some of them as part of the semi broadcasts and they're one of the nicest bunch there's been imo - especially Ari from Iceland and obviously our Saara!

Everybody was talking about how a Russian NQ can help Estonia, but I think the real winner of this NQ is actually Ukraine. They will end up in the televote's Top5 with the help of the Eastern bloc.

Not so sure that France will be top 5. Of course it was a snippet only but between the other contestants it came across as a bit lacklustre tonight. I still love it, it‘s one of my favourites, but I‘m not sure it leaves that much impact in the final. At this point I‘d even say Italy will do better than France in the final.

I can see the younger audience (up to my age haha) going for it + from the jury members especially those that go for modern and radio friendly stuff. All in all it has a very memorable staging!
