1. :pt: will rise up to 8th in the odds before the Grand Final
2. 4 of the automatic qualifiers will finish on the left hand of the scoreboard.
3. Less than 15 points will separate 10th from 14th in one of the semifinals.
4. Cyprus will not give its 12 points to Greece
5. There will be technical problems for one of the favourites in the Grand Final
6. Norway will finish 10+ places lower in juries than in televote.
7. No song will finish with less than 30 points in the Grand Final
8. No song will finish with greater than 500 points in the Grand Final

If there is any year a tie for the first place with the current system will happen, it's 2018.

Do I remember correctly that if there’s a tie, televote results become the first tie-breaker?

A much more interesting tie-breaker would be that the tied country that received less points from the other tied country would win. I’m sure we’ll yet again see some jury giving questionably low points to potential winners to improve the chances of their own entry.

Not so bold but still interesting:

Ex-Yugo wipe-out
Caucasian wipe-out
4 countries losing their 100% qualification streak except for Ukraine
Baltic sweep
Scandinavian sweep
Visegrad sweep hehe
Hungary wins, Lithuania second, Cyprus third

Ezio italy didn't win in 2015, but yes, it should have. That was one epic entry.

Sweden is not a legitimate winner and Italy had a record-breaking televote

My strongest early prediction so far, but I did not post in this but in other threads, was that Belgium is the flop this year.

Boldest Prediction: Manel Navarro will become a surprise 27th qualifier and win the 2018 Eurovision Song Contest for a song that is completely composed of voice cracks in an EDM remix.

Ireland or Germany will win.
Cyprus will be out of the top 5.
Israel will be out of the top 10.
Austria will be in the top 10.
The camerawork will be perfect in the grand final.

Bonus:
If Ireland wins, Björkman will be brought to a mental institution by an ambulance after the grand final.
