Lots of familiar names this year. Tinkara's on the Slovenian jury, Roberto Bellarosa's on the Belgian jury, Marie Myriam is on the French one, Ruth Lorenzo, Rosa Lopez and Pastora Soler are all on the Spanish jury, Georg Schlunegger (who wrote both Anna Rossinelli's and Takasa's songs) is chair of the Swiss jury, and I also noticed David Arch (conductor for the Eurovision's Greatest Hits concert) is on the UK jury
Interestingly the lead singer of Revolverheld is in the German jury...
Margaret Berger in norwegian jury and Cleo in polish one.
Let's see if they are going to vote for Ann-Sophie
has four former ESC performers: Rosa López, Daniel Diges, Pastora Soler and Ruth Lorenzo...no doubt that powerful ballads and show-off voices will get the most Spanish jury points, most probably will be ranked first.
I wish TVE could have selected a more diverse jury.
Is "hit potential" still part of the jury criteria?
I really wish they would remove that. Just because a song sounds modern or could be a hit in Germany, or wherever, doesn't mean its any good. Their suppose to be judging the quality of the song not its potential popularity
I think the ideal winner is a song with commercial success that's actually played on the radio, like Euphoria.
Winners that nobody wants to listen to in real life are the worst. (e.g. Russia, Azerbaijan)
Interestingly the lead singer of Revolverheld is in the German jury...
Except that's your opinion not a fact. There are people who do like those songs
Leave the popularity thing to the televoters. The jury wasn't brought back to make ESC popular on the charts. The charts are a mess with a lot of crap anyway
