Ole Tøpholm is excruciating. He started the contest with saying something like: "... and Montenegro is predicted to take the last place tonight.."
And he continued throughout the night with talking about "who was favourites and the greatness of the nordic countries". The neighbor-voting will certainly not disappear easier, when even the commentator indirectly encourages the viewers to vote for their neighbors.

Tøpholm is the biggest troll here, I'm just playing along.

After reading the Norwegian evidence I think I figured out who the bad guys are. I conclude the Norskarna is going to get payback from Lynda Woodruff tonight :lol:.

Ole Tøpholm xbow

Well, he's still a shitty commentator, but I hope he'll stand by his words and speak the same message tonight. That way he'll gain my respect. After all Loreen might turn out to be highly dependent on the nordic block backing her up.

Edit: Should properly have read the entire thread :D..

The Swedes should be pretty happy we have an incompetent, biased commentator like him. Commentators plays a much bigger role in this contest than some tend to think, and he'll certainly put in some nice words (as in a whole bunch of nice words) for Sweden, Norway, and Iceland.

I'm going to miss watching the final live for the first time since 1967. I'm gutted and distressed. Work, grrrrr! Dontcha hate it? Anyone know of anywhere that it is being re-broadcast on a delay? A streaming site or a second/third channel? I'd love to be able to watch it 'as live' without knowing the outcome before I watch

Help!!!

I do not think people vote in certain countries because the television commentator of his country will provide incentives to do so. That's called not having own personality and tastes. Each vote for the country you want, that you like and consider appropriate and deserving of victory. It is ridiculous to vote for the country as the television commentator in your country wants you to vote.

Agreed, music is very much a matter of personal taste.

The great thing it works in all directions xcheers. We are currently working hard on keeping Finland in line and getting Estonia onboard xhand. It's a slow ungreatful and lonly job though :(.

I'll be thrilled if any of these countries wins: SERBIA, SWEDEN, MOLDOVA, ICELAND, AZERBAIJAN, ESTONIA, ITALY, ALBANIA, IRELAND

Wouldn't mind at all - ROMANIA, GERMANY, SPAIN, BOSNIA & HERZEGOVINA, FYR MACEDONIA

Russia - if this won I would laugh. Not into dramas, but really, what is this? Sweet grandmas? Yeah, where's the song? Where are the singers?

Anyway, good luck to all the finalis!!
