Top 5 to win on Betting Odds:

1. Sweden
2. Russia
3. Serbia
4. Italy
5. Romania

Is the winner in this top or could it be someone else? :D

My guess and hope is Sweden (with Romania at least in top 10)

TBH I have a feeling Sweden will fail hard. I predict Italy and Russia as the winners with Macedonia and Serbia messing up the TOP 5. :)

I still wonder who's gonna vote for Sweden. Some adult twilight girls? Okay good show but nothing special with the song. I have a similar feeling that Sweden is going to be big failure of ESC followers this year.

Top 5: UK, Serbia, Turkey, Norway and Macedonia

Not Loreen but maybe the same pills with Kaliopi. What about you, what kind of pills you take? You cannot have some favourites for ESC without taking any pills, right?

No, he's just being realistic.
People have been overrating Sweden every year since 1974.
In 2008, people loved the song even more than Euphoria and we both know the result.

I think many of us have the same concern regarding Russia's victory.
I don't have anything against Russia, grannies, baking etc but I would be worried on how would that effect esc.

Since the Jury is voting too, Russia will have no chance to win this

I don't that many people hate Loreen as an artist. Sure, we're a lot who find it way too overrated, but I believe the actual reason why so many people are against it should be found elsewhere.

The thing is that the human nature wants underdogs to succeed. We want the unexpected to happen, we want the dark horse who against all odds manages to beat the giant. Sweden has gained a reputation that makes them a country with a large following, but what one shouldn't forget is that massive hype and an almost godly achieved status, also generate haters. Sweden's role every year, regardless of their entry, will always be a top-fave for the victory. This obviously pisses off a lot people and rightly so because this year it has just...escalated.

Almost no matter which country who dare threat Sweden at the top tonight, it is going to be the modern version of David vs. Goliath, and I personally can't wait to see who wins it.

I yesterday watched the documentary Hidden History of ESC.

They've showed strong connection of ESC history with Europe's political and cultural history. But a comment was really true. He said people do not vote political but they vote cultural. A country gives points to their neighbours since their music is similar to its music. If it was political, lots of countries would not vote for their neighbours, some of which are their old or current enemies.

Like old Soviet Countries vote for Russia.
Bosnia votes for Serbia or vice versa.
Turkey and Azerbeijan vote for Armenia or vice versa.
Cyprus voted 7 points for Turkey in 2003 and made Turkish entry winner.
Turkey voted 12 points for Greece in 2005.

Today I notice too, people may vote for their culture they feel in the song and that's not something unnatural or to be ashamed of.

I am generally pessimistic in regards to ESC voting. It is what I fear, but I would also put money on it too (I have money on Ireland winning). I'll be the happiest person in Europe if I'm proven wrong though.

Jedward is passé. They had their shot. It is maybe possible for them to get a better place than expected, top 5 at the best, but they don't have the broad appeal to win this year. They couldn't even make it last year. They are not THAT popular. I get your point in betting on the entry you least want to see winning, as it gies you a win-win situation. But this time you certainly wasted your money. Guarantee.

What you say could be meaninful for Scandinavian people, but for a person from other part of Europe, I don't really think the name Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Finland or Iceland differs if the song does not differ. The same is valid for a Scandinavian person who comments on Balkan's dynamics. So I dont remember that Sweden has been exaggerated each year like this year.

IMO, Norway and Denmark is much more better than Swedish entry this year if we consider Scandinavian entries.
