Russia to win a straight shoot-out with Ireland. This is my worst case scenario, but I also think it is very likely. Sweden will sink like a brick, unfortunately.
you mention that b4 but I really can't be that optimisting about Jedward. the song is much weaker than last year.
ofc, that doesn't mean much and your prediction could be right but at the moment, I don't see it that way.

I feel sorry for her. I blame all that sensationalism and "you are a favorite!!!" crap.

It's not that bad, since it happened when her tone was low. It actually added a little pathos to her performance.
Have it happened while she was singing "U-u-u-u-up" or "Euphoria", that would have been a different story and it would have ruined everything.

You were one pessmistic piece of Scot. I suspect that you actually don't think so at all, to be honest. That is what you fear, not what you would stake your money on. But I agree it would be my worst case scenario too. Anything but Russia.

In some way it would be refreshing if Sweden sank like a brick though (if it means that a huge sensation wins, and not someones grandma carrying a baking plate). So yes, I can bear if my country doesn't win, if it would mean that the biggest favourite of all times fails. There would be so much more to it if a sensation wins. It would mean so much more, and it would give a lot of hope not only to this competition. An easily predictable contest is not what we want in the long run!

Oh well, I will be happy if any country except Russia wins. That would be the definite death for serious competing. Big 5 wouldn't care anymore, at least not Italy. Can you smell that boycott too?

Good luck to everyone tonight!

I think many of us have the same concern regarding Russia's victory.
I don't have anything against Russia, grannies, baking etc but I would be worried on how would that effect esc.

I can't wait for tomorrow!!!!!!!!! Loreen must win the competition! I'm so nervous that my stomach hurts :) Lol.

I'm not a Swede, but I wanna see them winning so badly... I'll be cheering here in Brazil for you guys. Good luck!

Sorry about my bad language skills. :/

P.S. Nina Zilli and Engelbert are also great singers.

So what happened today at the jury rehearsals? So many bad performances, I heard. Elena from Romania forgot some lines from her song, Loreen chocked on a snowflake (what are the odds of that happening), Tooji having a bad rehearsal and running out of breath near the end, Jonsi singing off tune :(..

I'm hoping for Loreen to win it all, even after what happened.

Good luck to everyone

She was great, and so was Pastora. Both of them delivered a top performance. Zeljko was also great, and so was Gaitana.

I am generally pessimistic in regards to ESC voting. It is what I fear, but I would also put money on it too (I have money on Ireland winning). I'll be the happiest person in Europe if I'm proven wrong though.

this is a very good and diverse final actually
out of 26 i like probably 20-22. it will be a great, great contest.
i hope whoever is the winner (fingers crossed for Zeljko :) doesn't win by much. i don't want a "rybak" victory. i want an intrigue till the last 12 of the last country!

There's a completly random game here by some dishes company - if you predict the winner of ESC correctly, you'll get a pan. I put :se:. And my dad put :ru:. Hopefully some of those will win, so that I can, at least, get a pan.
