Yeah, this round has the lowest number of voters since all entries were revealed. Sadly

Perhaps because it's the same voting over and over again :roll:

What about this suggestion: We're about 4 weeks apart from the "grand finale", right? Why not start a new round now untill next Saturday (May 1st)... the 5 countries with the fewest points are out, next round the same (so by May 15th, 10 are out). Then the next round again 5 out and in a final round (which will be starting on Saturday May 22th) the remaining 24 countries will battle for victory... round closes on May 28th (after the semis, but before the final).
At least this way you'll get the voters back, don't you reckon???

Well, this is a good suggestion, but we already have such, similar elimination method in the Big Brother game, and we had it in some games similar to this one in the "ESC 2010 - Norway Here We Come" subforum, but as a suggestion it's not bad at all. I was thinking of making the last round "different" so i will think about it.

If anyone else has any suggestions about this case, you are free to PM me

Denmark, Israel and Germany lost most of their support in this round, while Azerbaijan managed to win the round for the first time, and Turkey grew on many people as well, ending on 3rd place.

Since the interest in the game dropped immensely in this round, we obviously need changes, and since ESC is getting closer, we will have to determine the winner somehow.

So now you will be able to decide which way you want the game to continue.

In case you vote for the first option, you want to see bottom 10 getting eliminated after the end of each round. That way, we will have the final round with 10 songs (let's say just eliminate the bottom 9 in the semi-final round, or add a "wildcard" from the eliminated ones we will see), where only 1 song will end up as the winner, and the overall winner of the ranking game as well.

If you vote for the second option, then you think its good the way it is now, and no changes are needed.

And in case you vote for the third option, you have another idea, which you can reveal and discuss here in the topic.

You have 24 hours to vote.

Not at all, since, doing so, the ranking game should end just before the first semifinal, if we go on eliminating 10 countries, if we eliminate less, than the game will last longer, and the goal is to make it finished before ESC itself.

I think the next round should last until May 24, and everybody should be allowed to change their votes at any time.

For elimination, we have the Big Brother game. And having the rounds last only one or two weeks is pointless at this stage, because all the songs are known and people's opinions won't change much anymore.

xgood Couldn't agree more! There already are enough elimination games (which I all like), so we don't really need another one. It's likely that the drop in voters can indeed be explained by the fact that all songs are known now in their final version and people don't feel like voting each week again with the same top 10 they had the week before. So changing it into one final round ending right before the first semi final seems like the best solution to me too.

Well, it wouldn't really become another elimination game. But fact is the final is in aprox. 4 weeks from now. 10 drop-outs per round = ok by me. Will give us just enough time to come up with a final winner in this thread.
