I think we should all force SVT and all the swedes to sing in swedish
Not just Sweden and SVT, everyone should sing in their native language.

Radical idea: (perhaps only for once, just as a "special edition"):
every country draws a language out of all the languages of the participating countries under the condition that it is NOT their own. The song that represents the country has to be sung in that "foreign" language. And for this year english is excluded. So we would have a swedish entry in let's say hungarian or a russian one in flemish. Just to raise awareness of the rich linguistic heritage of Europe. And perhaps people would get a little interested in the culture and people of the language their country got.

How about everyone has to sing in the language of the host nation?

This is probably A-lister's least favourite ESC edition. And something tells me he may have Montenegro in his top 10.

For me it's a very positive trends - more English - more quality songs - more songs I like in Eurovision.
Do you think another? Let's remember how Portugal performs succesfully on ESC with their 100 times beautiful lanquage. I'm sure this year they won't qualify too with their entry.
At the same time I don't want to hear how everybody sings in English. I usually like Spanish entries, French and Italian sometime but no more.
Salt shouldn't be too much!.
I also remember how Slovenia with Eva Botto fall with her beautiful song (because of lanquage in my opinion - English version would be successful). Also this year I see how Macedonian entry choosing English version changed everything for me and now I listen it with pleasure every day.
