It has to be one of them running, and then when it finishes another one to start. If we have too many of them running the same time, nobody would focus in only one, it would be very frustrating... :?

As I said,if 'yes' wins new thread will be made and you will be able to suggest structures of spin-offs(and then it will be decided by the poll) so you can suggest whatever you want(ofc,if has sense) :)

Ummm if we have like 5-6 spinoffs running at the same time as you suggest Star that would probably be overwhelming for some... People fail to vote in the real WV because they didn't have time or had real-life obligations so I can't see many wanting to participate in multiple spinoffs at once...

But you wouldn't have to participate in all of them? There might only be one that is of interest to you? Seeing as some of you are doing FSC or NSC, its spin-offs, other voting contests throughout the forum along with WorldVision and its future spin-offs, you obviously have the interest and time in your life to engage (and vote) in multiple contests simultaneously already as it is, so I don't see how that would be any problem here? And I didn't suggest 5-6, I didn't suggest any number at all.

Can we at least have two spin-offs? One that is of the kind you're talking about where you have interchangeable themes every edition and the non-mainstream/oldies one I want? There was talk of that particular one a month back or so and there seemed to be interest in having one from several members. Either a spin-off or turn it into a contest on its own.

Sadly, I can already see 2/3 of the mod team saying how crappy our idea is :( IOTAP

Maybe even make it its own contest? :D

Either way, it'd be cool to get rid of the country restriction, so that each one of us could send any oldie from any country!

I don't think that idea is crappy(from objective view,it doesn't matter if I like it or not). :) although it's maybe too spin-off-ish to be the independent spin-off(I hope you understand :lol:) but everything that has sense can be suggested! :D


btw,I think that we can have 2 spin-offs in one month at most.

Just like Trece was dissatisfied with specific FSC rules, so he made his own contest, we can be dissatisfied with specific WV rules and make our own contest :mrgreen:
