I'm surprised your perturbations. We had a lot of questions - why many voted against them? for example regions rule etc.? a lot of people were against it, and no one said anything. The same I can say about host=PQ - if you host, you can be not PQ
what can I say - you outraged only when you do not like, and when you like the idea, immediately say "why we need this poll?"

Since the poll started, though, let it be! It would be better to have a discussion about the structure of the spin-offs while we're waiting for the poll to finish!

So, each one can send songs from the country or region he has in WV? What about juries with 2 or more members? They must agree and send one song together?

Mini-contests with a specific theme, that you can participate in along the main contest. The main contest has one theme and very specific rules. In spin-offs, every edition is different and can have very different rules.

I'm not sure I understand what you mean. Do you mean every edition (or round) of the same spin-off contest will have a different theme (like this month we're doing this, the next month it'll be that) or will there be several different spin-offs running at the same time each with a permanent theme?

I would love to have a non-mainstream/oldies spin-off, but not just for one edition. I'd want it indefinitely, just like WorldVision.

We cannot have the same theme in all spin-offs. We can have an oldies spin off once, then we must have something else, rock songs let's say. We'll have a poll to determine which theme the majority wants.

I think that if you can gather enough people that would participate I think admins could approve it as a contest

Yeah but why do you have to have a spin-off theme only once? Just because that's the way you do it over at FSC or NSC, why must that be the case here? This is a different contest. It seems like those of you who compete in the FSC or NSC (and its spin-offs) think that this is the only way you can do a contest and it's very frustrating.

In the TV world, a spin-off series doesn't have a different show each episode. Why must a spin-off contest have a different theme each edition? Why can't one spin-off contest have one theme that carries out through all editions, alongside another spin-off contest with a different theme and so on?
