Bäh,
Outdated, weak pop song with Eurovision bullshit bingo.
Come on, Denmark you could do better.

I'm sure Denmark will not win the third time in a row after a Swedish victory.

I think this will do better than many here think..... But yes, a revival of the "danish-follows-swedish-victory" is rather unlikely

....I have the feeling a lot of people in this forum just prefer screamy diva's in a dress with a bland song....

Yeah, it seems that every NF has at least one of those screaming divas that gets overhyped ad nauseum and is by default the preferred winner. If anything else dares to get selected, it immediately gets buried under a heap of steaming hate.

My ears are oversensitive to such screaming divas with their power ballads and they cause me a lot of pain. Maybe the two of us should start the anti-diva support group?

I don't like when the word "diva" is used in a derogatory way to offend all the female singers, and that's what a lot of eurofans do. Just leave them alone, and keep listening too your trashy, dated, cliché favourite songs instead.

↑ I'll join the support group!

Then the motion to establish the anti-diva support group is accepted! Our first order of business is to make the world better aware there are other options for songs than screamy ballads and could even be better  :p

I usually think that eurofans use "diva" mostly as a positive note. I do not intend to offend all female singers, most of them I actually quite like. So are
:de: Lena :fr: Angun :dk: Soluna Samay :ba: Maya Sar :se: Loreen :is: Greta Salome :dk: Emmelie deForest :uk: Zlata Ognevich  Margaret Berger :uk: Molly :il: Mei Finegold :ie: Molly Sterling :ru: Polina Gargarina :ch: Rykka :it: Francesca Michelien One of my favourite artists of the past years.

I mainly get annoyed by the eurofans, who are in love with every stereotypical Europop or Ballad song specifically made for Eurovision. Since these types of songs are barely listened too outside of the contest. These fans see these type of songs as the only option, even when there are plenty of other "diva" songs already selected and will hate any other option or genre that wins. Indie rock is usually hated (see :ge:), boybands are often hated (:dk:), rap never does that well in Eurovision. Just screamy ballads and europop songs are the key to success.

What you are saying mostly applies to these Eurofans. I should leave the "diva songs" alone, yet most fans won't leave this song alone because it beat 2 diva songs. And you're claiming that this song is trashy, dated, cliché and a favourite. But usually this is actually how I would describe most of the "diva songs" themselves. I don't think they are bad per sé, only extremely overrated

I can put all these songs back to back and barely hear a difference:
:ua: Mika Newton - Angel
:sl: Maja Kuec - No One
:at: Nadine Beiler - The Secret is Love
:es: Pastora Soler - Quedate Conmigo
:mk: Kaliopi - Crno I Belo
:sl: Eva Boto - Verjamen
:cy: Ivi Adamou - La La Love
:gr: Eleftheria Eleftheriou - Aphrodisiac
:ru: Dina Garipova - What If
:md: Aliona Moon - O Mie
:al: Hersi - One Nights Anger
:se: Sanne Nielsen - Undo
:ru: Tolmachevey Sister - Shine
:sm: Valentina Monetta - Maybe
:al: Elheida Dani - I'm Alive
:es: Edurne - Amanecer
:de: Ann Sophie - Black Smoke
:ch: Melanie René - Time to Shine
:mt: Amber - Warrior
:al: Edena Tarifa - Fairytale Love

Could you imagine if the entire contest was like this

I hope that you are right... If we win Copenhagen City would hardly organize another Show so close to the last one...... So it would be Herning who will host the show
I therefore highly recommend NOT to waste your vote on Denmark until next year!!

Where we jet again will send a big surprise to the ESC........ Another blend boyband.......... We love boys, more than screaming Divas!!

Every year there usually is one song that I love unconditionally while almost everyone else seems to hate it with passion ... the honor this year goes to *drum roll* ... Denmark, which is (for know) the only chosen song that I really enjoy - the rest is just very meh or even annoying (Yes, I look at you Spain and Austria)

I find this and austria to be roughly the same song... Both very annoying indeed. How do you establish the difference?

Whaaaat? Weird. Austria is just very dated and "schlagerish" imho (and I have to admit that I'm not a big fan of the French language ... it's been a torture in school  )
Sure, Denmark may not be something overly innovative but it's still miles away from being dated.

That's right. Dated and schlagerish are words that come to mind in both instances. Infantile is another one, hard to avoid. In Denmark's case it aggravates as incongruent as the "boys" even look kind of old-ish.
