if veska win that (i hope it) what is with the prolog?
for me the prolog belongs to that song but makes him a little bit over 3 minutes.
many other songs will be under 3 minutes because spotify(user) love it ...shitty rules!

I would skip the prologue. The Slavic kingdom trope only incites confusion and anger as being taken too literally. It is enough when we remain with the even more problematical "sister" narrative.

We really can´t have nice things because people tend to be offended by everything.

I really like the "Slavic Kingdom" trope. It embeddes the core message of the song into a "fairy tale" setting and what have 99.9% of all fairy tales in common? = The enemy gets defeated and will be killed/expelled/punished ("poetic justice") whilst the protagonist, the hero gets rewarded.

By neglecting the Slavic Kingdom trope, the notion of poetic justice (=foreshadowing RuZZia´s defeat) gets destroyed as well.

(Also, the Kingdom trope makes sense because there´s a queen (Ukraine) obviously and someone (RuZZia/the enemy) wants to "take it down"... the trope is even part of the chorus/song title.. it doesn´t make sense to get rid off it because the notion is still "there")

If the outrage comes from the people, for whom the song is meant as a support, I guess it is kinda logical you readjust your form to appease this outrage atleast a bit. Now the song is aimed at a global audience and thus will be understood favourably and not thru the lens of Russian narratives but still....if VESNA wins, thins will not be only pretty if they will not get nasty outright as HayashiM hinted. The Pandora box is almost open...

this unnecessary discussion was forced by some people.
maybe I am naive but music is the key,not politics.

As an artist, you can explain the vision behind your art, why you chose it to present it that way - but don´t alter your own art because not everyone gets on board.
If listeners/viewers just take a single second, breathe and look at it again, they will see how it has been meant.
The metaphors and tropes are very clear and can be easily understood (if you are just open to be listening to them - you don´t need to have a profound knowledge of Slavic cultures or European history... they are universal and quite easy to decipher.. but if you listen to the song whilst being angry about something which is not really in the song, there´s nothing Vesna can do to change your mind).

How exhausting it must be to think of Vesna as a Kremlin puppet, propaganda tool when there is NO single clue about it and that´s why Vesna shouldn´t change anything about their entry (+ I doubt that the prologue will be part of the final version on the compilation - it´s just fits the music video perfectly).

Is it a different host this time ? That guy was so bad ... Trying to be so intense with his unneeded pauses and "piercing" look

Musicwise, the goth girl and her group should win. I love that song and their dancing so much!

But to get the full spirit of Eurovision, with the sobs and shivers, something meaningful, traditional at the same time, it must be Vesna! Although - I‘ll be honest - their live performance was a lot weaker than the official video. I don’t know if they are able to convey that on stage.

Vesna are landsliding this. Like we didn't expect anything different.
