This would've given me some serious chills, if only... The piano part had been placed an octave lower (as it is in the second half) or had generally been better adapted to Ben's voice range. Maybe even Ben all alone would've worked perfectly. I can't decide it it's Ben's voice or the overall composition to blame, but something is, very frustratingly, quite off.

What a missed opportunity.

This national final has become my favorite. It’s so representative of current musical trends. It doesn’t rest on its laurels. It’s fresh, it’s varied. It’s a commendable line up.

That's exactly my opinion. has got a very good NF, maybe my favourite, 7 good songs.

Among the 3/4 favorites maybe the one I would not like to see winning is "Dark Water", there are interesting elements but it is too predictable and sth we use to listen in Eurovision.

I'm going to vote for We All Poop, I can totally see them finishing very very high in my rankings. It's fresh and sth new in ESC.

I have a feeling that We All Poop will win. I woudn´t complain - that one is my favorite.

My least favorite has got to be Elis Mraz. I just find that one to be too annoying and try-hard.

It actually gives me Micolas Josef vibes, whom I didn´t like either.

Dark Water really belongs up there (or down there) with the likes of Anna Odobescu's Stay, or Amber's Warrior...sure, it could qualify, but it would be such a bland, uninspired, predictable choice for the Czech Republic. I could envision Olga pulling a Martina Barta v2, which is not what the Czechs would want to see after 2 years of left-hand scoreboard results.

@BorisBubbles - what makes you so sure that Olga isn't winning ESCZ? She's not my fave, but I don't really see her lower than 3rd overall, and possibly the biggest favourite to win. She isn't gonna score lower than 2nd in the televote - and is it so unimaginable for the juries to go with her as well?

Why would you support Dark Water when White and Black Holes exists???? I've mentioned it in my reviews, but Dark Water is just your standard modern power ballad. Nothing super excting.

But i also wrote in my comment before I learned that Olga is SUPER popular in the czech republic. Had I know that I wouldn't have made such a bold statement. Oh well, at least it'll make me look genius and prescient when WAP win.
