7. It is good but it doesn't stand out for me yet.

Bit disappointed, I would have loved to see Space Sushi go to the final in May (like the czech public did). But this is fresh and likable. So... good luck!

This is alright. It's got some cute parts to it and it certainly is rather catchy. I think it's going to be hard to replicate the success you experienced last year with Mikolas though. I think Barbora potentially could have done so if all the stars aligned correctly.

I'll give it 6 points for now. As it stands it's my second favourite picked so far for this years contest, and it's certainly a song I'd add to my yearly Eurovision playlist. I don't love it but potentially it's a grower. Best of luckxcrossed

The only part I really don't like in the song are the spoken lines. They feel somewhat bizarre. Don't know why.

Obviously, I am very relieved by the result, especially after my biggest nightmare became reality and Jakub Ondra really won the Czech part of voting. Thanks God for Lake Malawi, thanks God for juries! xheatxclap

On a side note, I hope that Barbora and Pam will be encouraged by mostly positive perception of their songs and will try again with something even better, although the deadline is so unexpectedly soon (30th of June, they said).

Tumblr, mostly.
I've listened to this song ONCE and that's all it took to make "she's but a friend of a friend of a friend" buzz through my brain for the past 30 minutes and beyond. This song is criminally infectious and Lake Malawi would have be horrific live to mess up Qualification.

It's alright. I like the verses but the chorus kills it for me. I hate the speaking part - so annoying. I still think that this could be well staged and therefore getting in the final by just a margine.

Why was Vaclav there today? Did he want to say hi?

At first, I was like: "Who's that guy?" :D

He was there as a former Eurovision representative, symbolically giving the trophy to the new one (Mikolas is in Canada at the moment, so they called good old Václav). Yeah, he looks bit different (better) now when he's no longer fat. :) BTW, he appeared in Marta Jandová's new music video.

Well, a bit disappointed. I was team Barbora - Lake Malawi's song is not bad, but still lacks of special moments. After listening to the song a few times again, I will give it 5 points for now. Don't think though that it will be a grower for me. :(

They're funny and sexy as hell. xheat I ship them since 2015.

"Hope Never Dies" remains my favourite Czech entry ever. They deserved more imo!!

I'm glad there'll be a live NF next year, yet that means my dream of seeing Vàclav return ends today.

Wow what a positive surprise! I mean it was the obvious choice but I was afraid that they'd choose Czech Lana del Rey.... 8 points for now, I can see potential for Eurovision. Great artist, I expect him to have a good stage presence!

Lake Malawi is in my opinion so generic, I was team Barbora. I'm super disappointed (even without a cape). 6 points (1 more than France)

I guess it's the best option we had. Barbora seems to be really shy and would probably find the whole experience rather overwhelming. I was also afraid that her staging would be too simple and would do the song no justice. Lake Malawi are the most experienced out of them all and they're very likeable so I hope they'll represent us well even though it's not the strongest song and our chances to make it to the finals are quite slim...

Ummm, i kinda like some aspects of it, like the jazzy keyboad splashes, and his voice has a peculiar tone that makes it pleasant to listen to no matter how cheezy the song is, but the whole leaves me cold, for now. I'm curious if they're going to revamp it somehow, in its current form it seems a bit unfinished.
