well, I will always try to bring you the best Czech music scene has to offer (even though I'm aware our music scene is really poor compared to most of the other music scenes in Europe).
A Little bit of info about my entry this edition. The song "Falling Slowly" was composed by respected Irish musician Glen Hansard and Czech musician Markéta Irglová. They both received an Academy Award for the Best Original Song (Oscar for the best original song) at 80th Ceremony in 2008. For me, Markéta is one of the most original and best singers we have, so that's the reason some of you already know her from FSC (and it's not the last time you hear about her because I plan to send her to FSC this autumn). Simply put, I like their honesty, what you hear is what you get, not some kind of fakery what you get from maaaany singers/bands these days. And in the end of the day, Glen's and Markéta's songs are still very good, and these are all the reasons I sent them this edition.
I don't expect qualifiaction but I hope at least a few people enjoy this and vote for thins)

Watch the Academy Award winning speech by Glen and Markéta. I don't expect qualification but I won't hide the fact that I will be pretty disappointed if I finish last again. This is in my opinion one of the best songs ever released (not only because of Markéta), so yeah, I hope for at least a decent result in the semifinal and yeah, this was quite a moving speech for all the people here

I was giving up that I will see this song in WV when you said that you won't send them because you already sent them in FSC Spin Off,

Sure, he is one of the all-time most popular singers here. His last big hit in Germany, by the way, was a collaboration with Berlin rapper Bushido. That was impressively terrible though. :?

Just a bit overly pathetic (as all his recent look-upon-me-everybody-I-have-become-so-grown-up-and-wise-lyrics), but nothing seriously wrong with them. It is more that I do not like the melody without rap either and that the package does not match IMHO.
However, I've heard older songs by him (also in Czech) and I remember some of them were really good. I've little doubts about the quality of your choice anyway.

Ah, yeah - Lady Carneval is Karel's biggest hit and actually I almost sent it this edition but I changed my mind in the last minute there's a high chance that I will send it. Don't know the "wind" song
