I think you're a good detective

Thanks to all the voters! I will vote in your NFs as well, if I already didn't do that :)

The current standings are very close, at first it looked like there will be one hot favourite, but then another 2 songs started to picking up high points and at one point, 3 songs were tied for the first place! :D

Re: Czech Republic

As you might know, I'll be leaving Czech Republic jury for a few editions.
Thanks to all the people who have enjoyed Czech songs and voted for them :)

Song suggestions for Slovakia would be much appreciated, so if you have any, please post them in the suggestion thread :D

Re: Czech Republic | WV10 | Sunshine - Victim Is Another Name For Lover

WV10
SUNSHINE
VICTIM IS ANOTHER NAME FOR LOVER

Sunshine is a Czech rock/indie/trash band founded in 1994. The band has been on top of the Czech scene for years and belong to the few Czech bands known abroad. Kay (the lead singer) together with the band left the country to the US in mid 90’s to record an album and tour around the States. They started to get some popularity, gaining more audience than at home where they were quite polarizing. Despite this, they've managed to retain their status of one of the leading Czech bands.

Sunshine's pre-2007 music is an amalgam of sounds rooted in the claustrophobic, chaotic no wave of bands such as Joy Division, the Cure, The Birthday Party, the Stooges and even the Velvet Underground. Sunshine creates a tense sound full of soaring melodies and churning guitars with a remarkable dramatic flair and, like contemporary Primal Scream, Sunshine performs with an intensity bordering on painful while retaining a dance-friendly element.
A favorite with artists such as The Faint, Sparta (with whom they toured Europe), legendary post-hardcore band At The Drive In (with whom they released a split 7"), and AFI.

Well, I don't expect anything, but it would be nice if at least a few juries enjoyed this song ^^
