And just like that, Fame Story went from a national final for Cyprus to just another domestic (in this case, Greek) music competition show. Therefore, contrary to what i wrote earlier, I won't be watching it anymore.

Here is the revised trailer for Fame Story. This trailer promises that the winner will get a recording contract with Panik Records and a cash prize of €50,000. "Represent Cyprus" is no longer mentioned in the trailer.

This twist of events was an unexpected little present to Cyprus. I may not be a fan of the so-called "dream team", but still they are 1000 times better than what Star Channel and that awful man Koklonis had to offer.

At least those Swedish Pop producers gave Cyprus some success, relying on that dated r*ssia-affiliated horror team is just an odd choice in 2024 both musically and morally. I just tried to connect the dots of the articles eurovisionfun has published (plus, a little bird sang a few things to me). Anyway, time is near. This week we will probably have the official announcement from RIK and we'll see whether it's dream - lol - team with Silia Kapsis or not.

Also, the horror team has had nqs in the past as well, maybe people just don't find that mid 00's Eurovision pastiche fit this decade
