- it's not gonna be a dance banger
- the song is not yet decided
- but it will have a strong serious message
- it's about difficult situations in life (very broadly speaking)

So, this could be a very very touching performance or a really really depressing one.
I was hoping for something upbeat, but if it's well done a ballad can also be very good. Hopefully the strong message is not one we've had too many times already....

I haven't talked much about this here in forum, but in 2018 I spent the whole eurovision season searching for "Fuego" 's reviews and opinions and I usually asked myself - Am I wrong for being the only person who loves this bop since it was released?
Fortunately it got (many) fans after rehearsals and I even dreamed (real dream I guess) it could win xchicken

That's why I will not forgive Cyprus if they send a song that places out of my personal Top 10.
I would definitely like to see sth different from Cyprus, but my expectations are not high
According to this information, they are going from one pole (radiofriendly songs with the same kind of lyrics) to the opposite, it's not bcs of this, it's because I'm not sure if they have the right formula in this kind of efforts, at least by what they sent to Eurovision in the last decade ... let's wait and listen to the song.

Staging involves more than just a gimmick. It's how you are gonna present a song visually, what is going on, which use of graphics and lights etc. I think the staging is almost as important as the song.

Marvin Dietmann staged all Austrian entries since Conchita and he managed to elevate every one of the songs. And as far as I know with limited budget. So I'm excited to see what Marvin can do for Cyprus.

We got 18/41 last year. Maybe 2020 can top them? So far we only got 4/7, that's probably a good sign.

Looking at the cover and ready what they're saying the song is about etc i already feel like im going to hate it. It feels so overly pretentious already.
