Sacha Jean Baptiste the stage director. She did Cyorus last year and few more countries too. She had masterpieces but straight up disgraces like Australia 17 and 18.
She is also doing Switzerland this year. Second shocker NQ?

That 1-minute clip isn't as bad as I feared and people were saying.

It's worse! Dear GOD. I really hope she gets her shit together for the next three (and yes, I still do believe she is far more likely to have three more than one more) performances. There aren't a lot of songs this year which I like and think can win, but she's one of them, and she will perform her way right out of contention if nothing changes. I don't even mean just the vocals; the choreo is all at the wrong times (arguably a bigger issue for me than the vocal), especially the weird half-turn that the "replay-replay-replay" effect, which could've been really cool but is executed straight-up poorly.

Replay would be considered an obvious NQ if it weren't a pre-show fan favourite. If she doesn't improve tomorrow, she's in DANGER.

It was my 3rd favorite before rehearsals. I still enjoy it in Spotify but I can‘t speak the same about the live version. It is written NQ in the snippets we watch. She is a gorgeous lady though

I think SBJ is a prime example of how you can have too many horses in the race. She really should focus on one participation each year because its mostly been successful on the expense of others that she staged at the same time. But well, I guess she doesn't bother about the paycheck at all. :

I am not surprised about Tamtas lack of vocal availability and that comes from someone who was rooting for her on Greek Idol (yes I am already that old!) but for anyone who has watched her performance in the NF for Greek 12 years ago can see that live vocals have always been her weak point. I was fearful of that when she was confirmed this year so I am not surprised at all.
Good look anyway, even when I think this will be a big disapoinment in the Final, I hope she will qualify!

Good thing they got rid of the replay effect that they showed in the rehearsal snippet. She doesn't sound perfect, but it is nice enough for such uptempo song imho. I am glad to see this in the final. But it won't do as closely well as Fuego, I predict.

One of my top three went to one of my bottom three after seeing the performance. How Tamta got through I'm not sure. She's cute but the performance was clunky and she sounded rubbish. Zena had everything she lacked. MEH

Still one of my favs this year, although performance left me cold... while the Eleni comparisons are tired by now, she really is NO Eleni for sure... Eleni might not be the best live singer, but she outperformed everyone... Tamta felt a bit outside of her comfort zone with this and it felt more forced...

This is my biggest loser of the entire night.

The entire performance felt lacking. Her vocals were great, but I didn't really feel her stage presence, her moves were kinda lackluster, and the entire thing just felt a little disconnected.

There was something about the whole three minutes that felt quite artificial. The staging in theory is fine.. stylish, pretty, but I don't know. Something kind of stiff about the performance. It's tiring to see things compared to Fuego so excuse me for one moment. Eleni last year was fire on stage, and you could feel the passion. She absolutely slayed it super hard, and I went from being someone who didn't care very much about the song at all to respecting the performance and Eleni very much. Kind of the opposite has happened this year. I surprisingly like Replay but the performance is quite the fizzle. And that random screen glitch effect just needs to go. It looks absolutely terrible.

The song is pretty good imo but what the fuck was this performance? Urgh. Her vocals were tragic and so was her weird outfit. I`m not sure about it being a deserved qualifier tbh.

Cyprus was fine. Hot, fun, cool. No big issues here. Not a winner of course, but a decent result is possible.
