It's been only a year and a half since you sent someone special!

We still had money back then. And right now, we don't have any new "rising star" like we had Ivi back then, so we'd most probably would go either with a "has been" or a totally unknown one. We have few local singers/songwriters and bands that could do something good, but I don't think any sponsor would be willing to pay for someone unknown and risky.

As I see, we are out, and I'm not really sad for that. I don't think we'll be out forever.

Interesting statistics:

Cyprus is out every 13 years: 1988, 2001 and 2014.
Cyprus stays away from the contests held in Denmark (1964, 2001, 2014).

I wouldn't mind if we take a break from ESC, because right now I don't see us sending anything special, so instead of sending something average just to be in the contest, it would be better if we stay out. :|

I agree! That's exactly why I don't care about being out. Better that than sending average/bad songs only to be there. :|

^^ I agree. That is also why I found the potential withdrawal of like something that wouldn't bother me so much, because if we would participate with something as mediocre as "Ljubav je svuda" than it's better to stick out.

First of all, who the hell talked about your taste? Everyone knows in this forum how bitter and weird you are, and you proved this once more by saying that a country that has been in ESC for so many years is "no big loss". I'd react if you said this for any ESC country, how much more now that you said this for my own country.

My taste trolling? When and where? You are the last person who would call someone's taste trolling, because you tend to vote for the most horrible songs that exist in general opinion, and for some of these songs you are the only voter, so who is trolling then?
