Sounds like Israel 2006, maybe even blander. Doubt it'll make the final even with obly 17 songs in each song. 5 points from me, too.

Big improvement from last year. Kipros is on the right track this year. I don't find the entry spectacular, but rather something that will likely put Cyprus in the final. This is a type of song that will be much favored by the western countries, especially UK (they should expect 12 points), Ireland and Denmark. Overall good song, slightly bland, but it works. :) 6 from me.

It doesn't matter what the song is like or even that the performer is from Wales, Cyprus even got 12 from the UK vote in 2008

That was actually my point. Now even with the juries his chances to get 12 are increased.

Ah that's true, I keep forgetting the juries will stop the diaspora a bit, but yeah I can see this get 12 from the UK in the semi :)

He has a good voice, and it is kinda catchy, but i am not impressed at all. I think it is going to qualify( i assume the juries will like it), but it won't end great there in the final.

Very thin.......1 point.

Deep Zone's disqualified entry - http://soundcloud.com/deep-zone/deep-zo ... on-version

I won't comment, because it's obvious for everyone, who's read one post from me, that I'd prefer it to their winner. But of course, too bad that Deep Zone didn't follow the rules in a typical bulgarian manner. Hopefully Play will have a good european commercial success even without ESC.

This actually has a lot of potential, and knowing how Cyprus usually revamps their entries before ESC, this will probably end up in my Top 10 :D
